Your girls are adorable and I love seeing their different personalities developing! The recent picky eating might be a reaction to the big change of having a new baby sister in the house? Either way, I am sure it will pass (speaking as a former picky eater), you are doing great with all three.
I wouldn't worry too much about picky eating at this stage every kid has a phase where they're picky eaters, most grow out of it, others have sensory issues.
💕Cute video! I love that Scarlet uses “No” for everything! 😂 Just from your vid I feel like your girls eat a lot of their offerings. I had a couple of picky eaters and they would barely touch anything I offered at times in their toddler years. I always stressed they weren’t getting enough nourishment! Of course they all survived and have grown into adults - so all that worrying for nothing! I’m by impressed by the variety of things you offer them. Great job momma💕
Thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️ it really is so easy to stress ourselves out isn’t it 😅🥰 haha everything really is no for little miss Scarley lately 🤣 That is so encouraging thank you 🙏🙏
It’s probably a texture thing for Crimson. I am the least picky eater now, but as a child I would hardly eat anything. My mom made a rule that I had to eat two bites of everything on my plate and now I love everything. I now have a 19 & 17 year old. I tried to do the same with them. My 19 year old eats everything. My 17 year old is a bit tougher but does eat fruits and veggies.
Suggest facing the girls towards each other while they are eating in their high chairs so Crimson can see how Scarlet is eating so well and may follow suit.
Picky eaters can be frustrating but your doing awesome. As long as it being offered that's all you can do. Give what you know they will eat and offer other things. You are doing great mom ❤
My sister gave birth in France and they told her to start food with green vedgetables after the "only Milk" diet. My niece eats lots of veggies and always has. I did the same with my son and he loves green vedgetables and always preferred those. I know this isn't helpful for you, but if you or someone else wants babies or is pregnant, I highly recommand to try it. For your girls, it's probably a power struggle. I never had that problem with my son since the only food available was what was served for that meal. I never gave him other choices. Kids don't let themselves starve. They'll fuss and fight, but they'll eventually eat what's in front of them as long as the adult doesn't give them what they want when they're in a tantrum. It's a struggle, but this 2 y.o. phase is slowly preparing the whole family for other power struggle phases ahead. The more the boundaries are clear and solid at a young age, the easier it'll be later on. Hope this helps.
That is actually true, I’m from France and it’s very common to give babies veggies as soon as possible. In my experience and from what I see around me, people do enjoy more veggies when they had a lot while being babies. Of course there are exceptions (my little sis for example 😂) but I think this technique is quite accurate !
My mother did that tactics with us eating only what offered and I thought it's wright, (it's much easier for parents for sure)but now I hear that you should give kids more or less what they want. Same with clothes and everything. Or they as adults will not know what they want in life. It's truth for me though. I never know what I want.
For most people, the thought of having twin toddlers and a new baby is pretty overwhelming (I know this was from a yr ago), but Sarah, you have a wonderful calm energy and sunniness that's amazing! Cheers to you, and keep on doing what you do! 😘
Emby is not picky eater she just love to eat. 😂 Very different from the twins 😂💕 Crimson is like No No cauliflower give it to Scarlet she can have it 😂😂😂
Follow your own instinct and don’t worry about what other people are thinking or saying. The girls are all adorable and as you see in this video they are each unique and no two are alike will you they are twins are not. I had three children myself and there were days that were challenging but mostly it was so enjoyable to see where their little minds took them. I enjoyed motherhood immensely and I love how you enjoy your children and laugh with them and give them an opportunity to form their own little opinions and world. I am loving your Channel!! God bless you mommy for being so positive and putting laughter into the lives of these little girls♥️♥️♥️
I have followed you on Tiktoc. I love that you are on UA-cam and the videos are longer and I get to see more of you and the girls (and hubby). Toddlers are all over the place with eating. I have three kids. My son the oldest, ate everything. Very good eater, but did not like green vegetables, for awhile. My oldest daughter, was a very good eater also. She did not like tuna fish and Dinty Moore stew. My youngest daughter was kinda picky, but it was different stuff, at different times. When I made chili, if I called chili she would not eat it. If I called Pochontas stew she would eat it. Thanksgiving turkey was chicken she would eat it. So when you fix cauliflower call it something else like mashed potato. Crimson eats good though, she may not clean her plate, but she did eat everything else. I do have a warning though: Do Not become a short order cook. That means you cook a meal. They eat that, don’t cook three different meals trying to get everybody to eat something different. Scarlet is a great eater and I don’t think you will have any trouble with Ember eating, seems like she will love food. Just chill out a little bit. They all eat great. Love your family. Thanks for sharing. I am a big follower, I do not miss any videos. Hubby needs to show up more. Like do a video when he has the girls alone, how does he deal with them. Sorry this is so long. I guess I had a lot to say. Keep up the good work, you are doing awesome.
Thank you so much 🙏🙏🥰 that is just the best advice!! I was starting down the path of being a short order cook without even realizing 😅😅❤️ Haha you’ve got these girls down pat!! I don’t think we’ll have a problem with Emby either 😂🤣 I’ll have to tell hubby that! Thank you so much sweet friend!!
Honestly I have no advise as I’m still going through this ahaha my kids at 6, 4, 2 and 4months. My second born eats almost everything. My 2 year old only wants to snack. Hardly ever eats dinner. It’s hard to not get frustrated. You get to the point of feeding them whatever they will eat so they eat it! Good luck!! Love your videos the girls are adorable ☺️
It’s so hard not to get frustrated!!! Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️ aww one of your little is just like Crimsy and the other just like Scarley 🤣🥰 Congratulations on your new little one mama!!!
I think eating, likes and dislikes, are very tied to development. There little brains are still growing, the synapse are still finding their connections, there are new synaptic connections being made all the time. Like everything else in a toddler’s development, it takes time. I wouldn’t stress about it. Just make sure you keep offering new and interesting things and one day, a little connection will be made in their brains and kaboom! They now love gnocchi! That’s just how it works. You’re doing a great job. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. Make sure you model trying fun and interesting foods in front of them and make eating chill and fun. That’s my little bit of advice from one mommy to another. ♥️🇨🇦
You may want to have them tested for food allergies/ intolerances. My father beat me frequently for not wanting to eat shellfish, dairy and mangoes, but I was either allergic, or in the case of dairy, lactose intolerant. If my parents had listened to me when I told them that certain foods made me ill, I would not have mis-matched ribs, nerve damage in my spine and a piece of bone missing from my sternum. Children do not always refuse certain foods out of pickiness, I had to experience anaphylaxis before my mother would even consider that I was telling the truth when I told my parents that certain foods made me ill. Please have your children tested if you even suspect they may have difficulty with certain foods. I know you would never beat your children for refusing certain foods, as my father did, but I hope everybody who reads this will consider testing. If my father had listened to me instead of being hard-headed, I wouldn't have so many healed fractures today.
All ya need is to all hook up at the big dinning room table .Honestly I HAVE twins boy, girl.,ya all need to eat together at the big table.Just buy 2 booster chairs.,and a painters drop cloth for the floor. You'll be amazed what 2year olds are capable. They turn into foodies"!
Power of suggestion, don't talk about things so much and allow them to choose their own pallet without you saying what they like and don't like . An old story about a father told his son every day when he dropped him off at school he would say just kill time you won't amount to much anyway. He was right, the boy used what his father said everyday so he wouldn't have to put in any effort. So please let them say what's up. Love your bunch!
This was posted 8 months ago lol but I'm still gonna comment. Could really be just a phase.... It's the same for both my kids! I now have a 9-year who is still a picky eater but unlike before, he'll eat what he's served now. But my toddler, 3-year old, doesn't eat anything else for Lunch and Dinner other than hotdogs and sour broth stew, she used to eat anything, 'til she got sick, when she got better, she became picky. As an asian, rice is a staple 😅 So seeing our kids not eating rice during lunch and dinner makes us feel like they are not eating at all! But she snacks a lot! Our pedia at one time said not to force kids when eating, when they are hungry they'll eat, and also, lunch and dinners should not revolve around rice 🤣 If they eat something for lunch and dinner, then that's lunch and dinner. LOL! That's telling so much about my kids but love seeing your bibis!!! I feel like I want twins too!!! But I know it won't be easy... Even though my eldest is now 9, my toddler, 3, is equivalent to 2 kids I feel like.
Hi all everyday I must watch ur video coz z luvly babies.U r a lucky mum to have 3 adorable kids.Big Congrats to u both as parents.U really take gud care of them.Rgrds luv.
When I was born my older brother just turned 4 years old my sister was 19 months old she was two that October so my mom had a four year old 19 month old and two new borns I also have a twin brother we were really close now he lives in Shelbyville Tn my older brother lives in Manchester with his family and my sister lives in Cowan with her family and the twins are very adorable 🥰 and I love seeing them they get more adorable every time I see them keep the adorable videos coming love 💕 the family
Perfectly normal to go through a "picky" phase. You're doing great MAMA. So gad we got a tiny small baby cameo. My daughter's 14 months and I still cut her nails while she's sleeping lol if it works for you then it works!!!

gross. Ground beef has much more exposed surface area and is more likely to be full of bacteria. Not the best thing to feed your kids but of course for a family this hiked up on sugar and other junk it might not matter too much lol
Such a peaceful patient loving mother!

Crimmy saying “daddy” was very British😂. Often see her kissing Emby and is so gentle. The twins are each adorable in their own right❣️❣️
