Definitely one of the funnest commercials I have ever seen. Based on Straight No Chaser's "12 Days Of Christmas".
Really? You think they invented this, huh? My guess is that this song has been spoofed pretty much since its inception.
@@MrJdsenior Sure, but this particular spoof followed the format of the Straight No Chaser version almost exactly, with mostly the same songs cutting in at the same times, and the same days being sung over top of each other.
@@MrJdsenior doesn't change the fact that you could play them both at the same time and only some of the words wouldn't line up. Of course there are other versions, but until Straight No Chaser they all stuck to the original format, each day adding a new item to the list of the day before until the twelfth day does them all. But the Straight No Chaser version was the first to mix up the days and incorporate music from other songs. Comic genius when they first performed it in the late 90's, and still to this day.
@@1901180108 yeah, I'm disappointed Peter didn't make a more original arrangement. He has the talent to make it his own. Not sure why he borrowed so heavily from SNC...another great group.
