oh, Ikusa and the original Shogun (which Ikusa comes from) are completely different games from the one in the video. THIS Shogun was designed independently and has no relation with the Shogun-Ikusa lineage. It is just unfortunate that they share the same name. Actually I believe that the Ikusa version of the old Shogun was named Ikusa instead of Shogun precisely to avoid confusion with Queen Games' Shogun.
Ohh the ending is too cute. Thanks for this review, especially the silent part.
I just recently found your channel. Great stuff!
I'm just sad I don't live in US. You seem like the ideal gaming partner!
Thanks for the review! Now I want to buy Shogun.
It looks like to me that the third version, Ikusa, plays a lot differently. Dice are involved, miniatures of variable strength, no cards save for territories, and hidden planning of your moves for the next turn. I'm sure there's a lot more as I haven't watched the entire video. Lot more closer to RISK. I'm surprised at the amount of changes between each version, too.
Have you played Wallenstein as well? If so, which do you prefer? Thanks for the review.
Ahh, that explains a lot then, since the maps also look familiar. Thanks for clearing that up, Marco!
you remind of Tommy Wiseau
I really like Shogun as well. I love how players are limited by the tightness of money.
great video. Very cute ending :D
You're a great guy Marco. Smart text stuff in the end.
I wish the building aspect and empire management aspect was more developed in this game
A friend of mine owns this, and it is a favourite of mine. I like games with variable timing of actions during each turn.
Thank you for reviewing the games that are hard to find reviews for!
Thnx for this review! Keep up the good work! Cute baby btw! My best wishes for you and your family.
Hey marcowarmergamer, what a wonderful review! It prepared us enough to have a try at this game this weekend and still was short enough to leave some things to figure out by ourselves.
No samurai miniatures :'( What an absolute shame! Otherwise lovely. On my wish list.
That was fantastic, thank you so much for that video it was really helpful and interesting :)
do the cubes ever get stuck in the tower?
If I owned a copy of this game, I would put in a different combat system. Even Risk's appeals to me more.
This game is way too confusing for me to play
I've tried figuring out how it works like 20 different times & I still have no idea what your supposed to do ......... Even this video is confusing for me =/
EVOL Sister I'll admit, it is a little difficult to learn, at first. Hope you stuck with it. Well worth it. Great, GREAT game!
Hilarious ending
Underrated!
combat is the best part here; I am sorry you did not enjoy it.
great review!!!
I also love this game!!!
I like Shogun a LOT, but I dislike the combat system, and have won games without attacking anyone.
Woah, check this dude out
this game is stupidly impossible to get started with... the instructions are all over the place it drives me nuts.
too similar too wallenstein ... sad that queens game cant make a game other then that
Great review! The best one explaining how the game works! And the baby surprise element at the end is fantastic 😂😂😂
