I was trying to figure this out myself. My best guess is that they are not really building magic resist and probably won’t . Zhonyas has really good value because they are triple AD and they have 2 reset champions (Katarina and Viego) so your number 1 priority is denying enemy a reset because if you do, they probably cannot win the fight. On the other hand, if you do ever manage to die, you will 100% lose the fight because Viego take your body and one shot your whole team. Same with Katarina CDs.

The first bot lane roam was beautiful. Beat her ass when she tried to follow and then secure 3 kills right after.
Any idea why zhonyas this game btw , it's it usually said that ekko does not need zhonyas right? Appreciate the help in advance
