    I have a recovapro similar to this, it's 24v. Fixed mine, just stopped working out the blue. I couldn't get any voltage from the battery so decided to pull it apart and strip the battery, to investigate. Took the battery wrap off and tested around, turned out to be the + and - coming out of it are really flimsy and just soldered on with two tiny solder dots. I soldered some fresh wire to the battery tabs instead. Working back to normal, no mods like in this video needed.

    Sometimes with my work tool battery’s , they die so low that they have to be jumped manually . Just a thought , maybe try bypassing the charger ( which would require pulling taking it apart I’m guessing ) I’m about to mess with mine

      Let me know if you find out something more efficient. I am pretty sure I attempted what you are mentioning and when it bypassed the LED at the bottom of the gun lit up red.

      I know you guys more than likely didn't read the instructions manual, I didn't either, lmao. But, you probably did just quickly skim through it and kinda just read what all the different attachments were meant to be used like I did. I had mine for like 4-5 days and only used it like twice. 3 times max and this happened. Same exact thing. But, when it's plugged in and turned on, the massage head works. The control panel doesn't tho. Doesn't light up or anything. When it's plugged in, the massage head is like a billion times more powerful than it being on the highest setting. Anyways, if you read the manual, it says "do not push or use to much force. Using to much force will cause the battery to automatically go into protect mode resulting in a black screen then you must use the charging cable for the gun to work." Soo, it's not the fault of the product or brand. They all say that. It's just a "user error." Soo, my question is, howww to get the battery out of "protect mode"?!?

    dam I didn’t expect this to actually work, but it did, thanks. only problem is the power and speed, it’s hella low :/

    • @matthewabernathy7563
      @matthewabernathy7563  Рік тому

      Interesting, seems to have many faults and failure points. Does your speed not match up to mine?

      Before when you had it or if you still do, are you using another charger or charged with another charger..? Also did you use up all of the battery?

      Had the same problem. Mix the black and blue with black and black. It should run fine

    Very good sir thank you for the video I'm wondering though if the capacitor you have could be purchased then very simply with a soldering iron a new one could be placed in but I like the hard wire idea

    • @matthewabernathy7563
      @matthewabernathy7563  4 місяці тому

      Yes yes I have had the same exact thought and I do believe that would be the fix for the problem. I have wanted to make a video in addition to this to provide that complete fix. But have not had the time to get around to doing it. It's like a capacitor in any system that is in line with the starting components. If it's failed it's not gonna be able to translate that current, but like we have both concluded if bypassed then the circuit is still able to complete.
      Great minds certainly think alike.

    My gun wouldn’t charge and then I just changed the cable and it worked suddenly. Sometimes the solution is that easy

      Check where it says input near the switch or model number, it looks like mine says
      Input:27v-----0.5A

    It is not repairable because it is an under $100 gun with no guarantees, shipping and a single hour of someone's time is more than a new gun.
