  • I call this my SEXY TEA as it makes me feel so damn good. Turmeric, ginger, lemon and honey tea.
    Initially i researched this Ayurveda turmeric tea for my mum who was having trouble with her asthma. She was having trouble breathing when she lay down to sleep at night.
    I read that this turmeric, ginger, lemon and honey tea is an anti inflammatory and has other huge health benefits too. I decided to try it out and the results have been remarkable.
    Initially we stared drinking it hot every morning and didn't notice any real benefits. We continued to drink it daily because it tasted nice. Then after about 10 days my mum noticed that her asthma wasn't so bad and she could breath easier.
    We now make it in bulk and drink it cold daily and have been for about 6 months.
    My mum's asthma has almost disappeared as well as many other heath benefits. I use it as a hang over cure lol.
    Give this turmeric, ginger, lemon and honey tea a try and let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. If you enjoyed this video please like and subscribe to my channel.
    Thank you.

    I have been drinking lemon, ginger, turmeric, and honey water. I've been drinking it for a few days now. I have lost belly fat, no more bloating. I have more energy. Less food cravings as well.

    So, 1/2 a lemon, squeezed with rind
    1/2 - 1 teaspoon turmeric
    1/2 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
    honey to taste after straining. Simmer low, don't boil.

    Looks yummy!!! I´m going to give it a go. A few questions: can you add the honey while simmering it or just when you are pouring it? Once cool for how long can it be kept in the fridge? Also, I read that adding some black pepper is beneficial to "activate " the turmeric and all the goodness. Is it so or is it just personal taste?

    • @Mreffindelicious
      @Mreffindelicious  Рік тому +1

      Yes I often add black pepper too, it helps your body absorb the goodness from the turmeric, and yes you can add the honey while simmering.
      I keep a large jug in my fridge and it typically lasts about 4 or 5 days.
      Hope that helps. Please let me know how it turns out 🙂

    I wondering if you kill the vitamin C if you put the lemons in hot water?

    • @Mreffindelicious
      @Mreffindelicious  2 роки тому +4

      It’s fine as long as the water doesn’t reach boiling point. If you keep the water at a gentle simmer you won’t kill much of the vitamin C.

    • @Mreffindelicious

    I've been making something like this but also adding garlic/ onion/ and cinnamon to it. It makes it have more of a soup taste to it, but it still tastes good and you're just adding antiinflamation benefits as well as immune system benefits.
