Thank you for such depth of teaching. The format you have chosen to use for your videos also enhances the teacher/student exchange. Your messages are pacted with so many facinating & thought provoking details! Pre 55 Holy Week. Absolutely! 🙏
Fr. Fortescue was an excellent liturgist, historian, linguist, and academic. That doesn't, however, mean that he didn't have a reformist streak in him. We just have to treat some of his private opinions with caution.
@@romancatholicmedia I naturally assumed you would consider the New Mass invalid. But what about the rare 1965 missal? The so-called transitional Mass. I similarly assume you have issues with that as well, but am curious to know your thoughts about. I have read that Archbishop Lefevbre used that missal a few times. I think this would make for an interesting video. There is so little information about this missal, and given Bishop Sanborn's age, I assume he would certainly remember it and possibly have some experience with it during his early seminary days.
These interviews with Bp. Sanborn are treasures!
As usual His Excellency shines light in the darkness.
Thank you and God bless you
I have been seeking a Rosary book entirely in Latin (pre 1962) for a long time. It simply cannot be found. Here is the world we have lost.

Indeed a treasure! Saludos y Feliz Año 2024 a nuestro Obispo Sanborn y todos sus sacerdotes, así como a todos en Roman Catholic Media!!
Where is the translation the Benedictines finished under John Paul II available, please?
What does His Excellency think about the works of the controversial Fr. Adrian Fortescue? I notice his name is not mentioned.

What would the RCI’s response be to the following: The Novus Ordo Missae is intrinsically invalid?
We consider the New Mass invalid.

Masoretic text is partly anti-Christian.
