[Disclaimer/Read this First] We're super excited to start a new system on the channel!! If you haven't seen us before a heads up that we are very much casual players rolling dice for fun rather than hardcore tactical nonsense. I'm still learning the game so hopefully more fancy rules like special strikes will start to come in once I am more familiar with gameplay. A massive thank you to Ian for being amazing on camera and talking me through how to play!! If you have a rules query that you'd like to share, don't worry about it too much (and remember the efforts that went into recording) and let us know if this is the kind of content you'd like to see in the future! Enjoy!
Amazing video, would love to see more. Also your Uruk-Hai painting was brilliant as well. Would you consider doing more Middle Earth painting videos as your style of contrast and dry brushing is inspiring. Peace
Great game! The SBG community is really supportive and relaxed, I dont think you have to worry about negative comments for these reports. I can't wait to see more of my favorite game, you did a great job! Love the little cards with the stats
Great to see LOTR on the channel and a very impressive video - really looking forward to more - hopefully attack at weather top next 🤞 - love the terrain, minis and production 😁
Fun video, and love the layout to represent each miniature and points spending. Great. The key to win this scenario is using the one ring (this way uruks will have a hard day trying to charge Frodo). The game is awesome, I'm back on it after years and is so funny and thematic. Hope you will upload more LOTR videos, my vote is for Balin's tomb scenario, is a nice one
Thank you! Fun fact: during our test runs every time that Ian used the ring he failed the roll, so much so that he had to house rule that Frodo stands still rather than being moved by me otherwise he would have walked off the board the wrong way!! :) Will check out Balin's Tomb - Love that scene!
@@warriorstablewargaming haha lure of the rings is a thing! For balin's tomb: the best one I've played was the journeybook of fellowship. Just homerule the troll a bit to balance (cause heroes are better in new edition) we put him "ironskin" rule that said "if you are fighting a hero, you can use an heroic defence for free at the start of the duel". Otherwise troll tends to die in one combat and goblins are no match for heroes.
Hey guys! Love the video and layout! You e made it super easy to follow and light hearted also! Where did you guys get the tokens to use for might etc? What a great way to keep track... also character cards?!
Thank you very much!! Glad you enjoyed the video, we have the next one out today. The tokens were printed by a friend with a laser cutter, but any token company could do it for you for commission. Character cards are made by us, GW did make a few but the immediatly sold out so we thought we'd do it ourselves! 😊
Awesome video and production from the scenery, painted minis and graphics. Can I ask where you got the seeing seat scenery? Is it custom made or store bought ?

Hi there and thank you! You can find a link to the terrain in the description, it used to be a Facebook seller but now an eBay outlet. ☺
