Anybody else noticed when he went to go hit the side buttons, they didn't work when he had the chart plotter up Just before 9 minutes.
Wheel key. I have mine programmed to turn of the transducers when I get on the lift. Short press for the main and long press for the 3 in 1.
I have a cmap Chip in my small boat unit for the inland waterways. how do I leave it in the unit but go back to the ocean usage with the preprogramed info? New Cruise 5 with northeast cmap chip.
During the editing a waypoint section, I didn't see an option to move the location of a waypoint. Can you click on the waypoint and drag it to new location?
Can i connect 1kw airmar through hull transducer (b164) directly?
Yes you can directly connect the B164. You'll need the 7 to 9 pins adapter cable, ref. 000-13313-001
Wish you guys have a better reseller here in Sydney, Australia. Lack of support n basic customer service made me chose Garmin gpsmap series over your nssevo range.

If I install a dual NSSevo3s display with a B175H-W 1KV transducer and a B175L 1KV transducer can I plug 1 into each display without the need for a S5100
You can plug both transducers onto one NSS Evo3S without the need of the S5100.
How do I get rid of the black lines where I've been on my chart
Go to the Waypoints menu, under Tracks section. Once you have deleted them, go to Storage > Waypoints > Purge otherwise even if deleted, those files will still user internal memory.
What tranducer do you recommend, i want side scan, downscan etc and i want the ability to upgrade to structurescan 3d in the future
Then you will need a AI 3in1 transdcuer, which will give you 2d, downscan and sidescan.
Per the future, you will need both, 3d module and 3d transducer.
My C-map doesnt have photo overlay from factory its greyed out
Can I use my iPhone to operate simrad pilot A2004 without the picture monitor
NO, you cannot operate the autopilot from a mobile phone nor from a laptop.
Can I mark areas on the plotter,such as harbour safe channels that aren't on charts and good fishing areas etc

Sure you could drop waypoints and use the icons to help you reference them
@@simrad-yachting but I can't actually create shaded areas and boxes just lines that make up unshaded shapes
How can i get shaded relief onto my Simrad. I live in Florida it is on my phone but not on my boat
You will need to use a C-Map Reveal chart card in the unit. Make sure your unit is compatible.
what size units are these?
We have a 16" steady, then a 12" and a 9" when the features are explained.

Yes you can, it is a straight forward connection.
Does NSS EVO3S have autorouting (Autopilot) system??
It does indeed. You need to have a C-Map chart card in the unit to have that feature active.

If you use it for 2d sonar and chart, then one screen would be enough. If you want to view radar, autopilot and other instruments/data, then you'd better off with two screens.
@@simrad-yachting Does the Autorouting work if I have the Navionics map card in my unit and using Navionics or do I need switch to C-Maps?
There's a lot of great information in this video. I am wondering, when I navigate to one of my waypoints, it always draws the red line Over land. Is there any way to make it only go over water?? I live in Boca Raton Florida. Thank you so much!
I really appreciate these videos, But I do have one problem, You always talk about the top of the range equipment (NSS EVO 3S)and what it can do and how to do it,
BUT, There are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people that cannot afford the top of the range equipment, For example I have the GO7 and my friend has he Go 5
I do not see you producing videos to help us out with the best way to do stuff and what our modest unit can do, But maybe the units that are under 1000 USD are not that important,
only the 5- 10,000 USD unit provide sufficient profit to matter to you?
But you know there are many people who just have a 17-21 ft boat that loves to fish and need some help too!
