This show and Bill Nye show made me interested in science, only to see that I'm a doctor now, I can trace my passion for biology and science to these great shows
Loved this stuff as a kid. Very much a rival for Bill Nye. Can still watch it now (23) and be entertained with the different aspects of the show. Didn't understand the little nuances as a child, I find it hilarious as an adult.
+Boss Rage Me too. My mom made me watch this show a lot when I was younger and I hated it but I've grown to love it now. It makes me laugh more than anything
The drum roll joke is honestly one of the best in a line of tired jokes. Instead of someone begging several times, he asks for it, someone screams they don't have one, and just goes with it.
Obviously, this is for kids and thus it has to be oversimplified. If you look at European churches that are hundreds of years old, you’ll see that the arches are not semi circles. That’s because there is a lot of weight from the brick over those pointy arches and those arches are going to need long lasting strength.
+Mark Lawrence Me too. My mom made me watch this show a lot when I was younger and I hated it but I've grown to love it now. It makes me laugh more than anything
HEY! That music score is from Rugrats. From 1:13 to 1:26. Of course, it's Mark Mothersbaugh, he composed Rugrats and this show. And again, 1:46 to 1:55.
What channel was this on I remember the cartoon with the bird and backwards hat I only had free cable back in the day being from Colorado you got South Park on the local channels before Comedy Central
I remember watching this show when i was a kid then my dad told me "the hell non sense you watching??" Remembered lookin at him then walked out the living room to take a pis... After that, just change my plans and walk outside take a breather. "Ei this is good, educational" he said Me: "The hell nonsense you talking about?? Im out!!" 😕
Beakman is awesome!!! He’s got values!!! Different to many other pop-science personalities. 😒😒😒😒 Who are corrupt and evil as Neil and Bill!! 😡😡😡 We love you Beakman. 🥰🥰🥰
Yep. He died in 2009. Emailed him back and forth for a while and even got an autographed pic of him in the 'rat suit'. He was such a nice guy. He did bigger and better things, but didn't mind chatting about Beakman's World and just LOVED kids and kids' shows. A true hero in the Mr. Rogers sense. Mark was a good guy. He's missed.

I'm not a doctor. I would be if I had money.
Same except that I am a Master's in biotech
It didn’t make you interested in proper grammar I see
MacGyver and Beakman led me to a PhD in Physics and working at NASA.
@@buellterrier3596 wow!!!
Pssh I’ll never tell...

BRO WHERE IS IT

Boss Rage I watched it on Netflix when I was younger, it went away and I was sad.
I watched in brazilian portuguese as a kid more that 25 years ago I now I'm whatching in the original for the first time.
Man, I loved this show as a kid. I always felt salty towards Bill Nye replacing him on tv. This was my science show
This guy puts Bill Nye to shame.
This Beakman show made my day as a child. This is real science others are fiction
This was a fun show and Liza was my favorite assistant of the three. Really cute. She later did the female voices on South Park.
She doesn't do South Park anymore. April Stewart took over doing the female voices (except Sheila, who's voiced by Mona Marshall) in 2004.
The drum roll joke is honestly one of the best in a line of tired jokes. Instead of someone begging several times, he asks for it, someone screams they don't have one, and just goes with it.
My kids need a show like this now . Educational and fun. Miss this show
Lester the rat's jokes and sarcasm were way over my head as a kid
Glad I watched this show as a kid, because as a teenager I wouldn’t have gotten past just staring at Liza
I wouldn’t have gotten past just staring at the rat
What an unnecessarily creepy comment.
@@pablobeluckdeoliveira9958Eh I mean, I don't really think so. It's more of a joke about himself being a hormonal teenaged guy.
Oh Beakman... You're the answer to the question "What if Doc Brown and Cosmo Kramer had a baby?"
I'm sure there's some Dr Clayton Forrester in there too :)
Accurate 🤣🙌🏻
Add Dice Clay to the mix
And that baby would be raised by Jerry Seinfeld
Used to get Stoned and watch this. Amazing experience.
Yo I never thought of this. Great suggestion
LOL underrated comment right here!!!
You and me both,I'm stoned now..lmao
Great suggestion
That's definitely the key to enjoying it
I remember watching this episode on a Saturday morning. I used to have a crush on Beakman!

Me: Can we have Kramer from Seinfeld?
Mom: No, we have Kramer at home
Kramer at home: Beakman
AW MAN THIS IS ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FUNNIEST SHOW!!!!
+Mark Lawrence Me too. My mom made me watch this show a lot when I was younger and I hated it but I've grown to love it now. It makes me laugh more than anything
It makes me laugh too!!
Mark Lawrence I've been watching this show on UA-cam and it makes me laugh more than what I normally watch
This brings back memories! I remember watching this when I was still living in Massachusetts :3 Good times
This program marked my childhood, miss it
I like how the removed arch support is obviously shorter than the one that was originally there.
shhh
I like how the spikes are a couple feet in front of the arch. Beakman's a bet hedger first and a scientist second.
No, it was lowered. Idiot.

Of course, it's Mark Mothersbaugh, he composed Rugrats and this show.

1:46 lester really wants the bogus scope so he would kill beakman for it
That doesn't make sense
Didn't know the actress her who played Liza also voice Rebecca Crane in the Assassin's Creed video game series
Science owe's beakman a lot in terms of bringing it to the youth, its the only interesting science show back in the day
*owes
*it's
@@SandalwoodBros Get a life!
Man I used to love this show😢
Beakman and Bill Nye.. working hard to make science fun!
I use to watch this when it was on Netflix in the early parts of 2010's, I actually preferred beakman's world than Bill nye

Used to watch this show as a child. No wonder why I became an engineer. 😅
I forgot one of the characters was just. A rat man.
this is the most 90’s thing i’ve ever seen.
This is a better science show than Bill Nye.
100% true.
BY FAR!
I feel like Bill Nye is a bit condescending and not nearly as funny as beakman
i still love the shit out this show
I just found out the lady who played Liza was Mama Imelda in CoCo.
SOMEONE GET THE FULL EPISODES ON UA-cam PLEEEEEAAAZZAZAZAAZAAAA
There's a free app called Tubi. You can find it there.
I remember watching this show when I was in elementary
I miss Josie.
Man Alanna Ubach was and is so fine. Love her in Waiting... and Hung
This is more entertaining then bill nye
Wayyy better.
SOOOOOO Much More. Bill Nye is a pretentious twit. Plus... he's like Dr. Phil. NOT REALLY a scientist
Eh, not for me
Guilty I watched it as a kid too and learned a lot, even watched Mr Wizards World
I actually remeber watching this episode
only thing I DIDNT like about this show......it came on too damn early in the morning
In Brazil was in 7 pm when I was kid, 1997 I guess
Yep Saturday morning early.
@@Shatamx For much of the run, it aired at noon on Saturdays, actually.
The real science guy
Yessss
We didnt have Bill Nye in the Philippines but we did have Beakman in the afternoon.
pfffft i’ll never tell.
I liked "josie" a thousand times more than the new girl.
What channel was this on I remember the cartoon with the bird and backwards hat I only had free cable back in the day being from Colorado you got South Park on the local channels before Comedy Central
Tap or gap liza
I remember waking up from deep sleep and thought i was having a nightmare or an lsd hangover
Wait I thought bill nye the science guy was uhn
the episode about dreams was the best one
When the non-political Bill Nye had a cute girl with him.
I should have watched this, the memories Arn't the same

The women on there is to cute
@소 I got to meet her at work! She was a client of mine teaching voice lessons! Such a cool chick.

Bill Nye sucks compared to this
Why not?? They both know how to make scientific topics fun -- by MAKING THEM COME ALIVE
Rip beakman
Despite not being classically beautiful, I always found the girl attractive. I bet she was a good lay.
You do realize that you are not in your high school locker room, right?

גדלתי עליו...
The Beakman characters had to have been at least somewhat been inspired by Cosmo Kramer, and George Costanza, and, Elaine.
