I think the tune up budget went to the rims!!! Actually, he has low compression on a cylinder with lots of blowby. He is still deciding on either a re-build or a dodge 318 conversion. Personally, I think a ford 300 6 cyl would be a nice replacement without going too crazy.
Hi. Cool video. I love M37s and have always wanted one, but the locking ring wheels are kind of scary. Do you know what Mike made his out of? I always figured stock Dodge centers with a later model outer? Thanks! -Marc.
Hi, just a quick response, Mike had the rims custom built with a custom offset from some outfit out of Salt Lake area. Ill try to get some more info. Kinda spendy as I recall. I'm wanting to say around 1200 just for the rims! Ouch!
About the stock centers, I think like you are saying, one could fab the centers into later 16 in rims for a fraction of the cost of custom wheels. If, of course you have the time tools and skill, or a buddy who does.
TUNE IT UP! I have a 53,and it runs like new. TUNE IT UP!

Know your trucks--an M-37 is NOT a "power wagon"--it's a weapons carrier!
