Perhaps, it is better to listen to someone's inner voice and emotions to connect and understand their exact source of pain, rather than just entertaining someone to give him a temporary happiness, as the latter is quite hollow, and doesn't carry a purpose. That pleasure dies pretty fast, and the person will go back into the same darkness again, once the entertainment and the dopamine boost is over. That inner connection is very strong in this scene, which even the doctors failed to comprehend until Munnabhai showed it's magic.
