But I wouldnt consider him a true bigmen. Just because u play the position, that doesn't categorize u as the traditional sense of that position. Not all 4s are bigmen either. And most centers today are actually traditional 4s anyway. The traditional positions are all fucked up rn. I guess u can consider him a "bigman" in todays loose positional terms. but if u ask some of the NBA guys , they always say otherwise.

Randolph cus in his prime he was proven to crash boards and shoot well overall. He also avged 4+ assists when he was in his prime.
It’s not fair to compare right now though cus montrezl is only 26. He’s been consistently improving his game each year. Also numbers don’t show value. Randolph was the star on his teams in his prime. Montrezl playing off the bench as a 6th man of the year. Apples and oranges both sound good
