I had my heart set on a ZZR1400, until I sat on one. It was used, low mileage, and a good price, but I knew immediately from the ergonomics that it wasn’t my bike. Then I sat on a 2018 Concourse and fell in love, but I couldn’t afford it. So I bought a Suzuki B King and turned it into a sport touring style machine. But to this day, I still want a 1400 Concourse.
I did the same thing. Went to buy a ZZR1400. Sat on it in the shop. Didn’t like it. Bought the GTR1400 instead. A B-king once embarrassed ma and my 1200 bandit at Santa Pod. Don’t see many around
@@Gruffaloscoot The 1200 Bandit was no joke. I rode one once; it was an early air-cooled model, and it practically ripped my arms from my shoulders when launching. But the B King was a real monster. Believe it or not, I sold it and bought a DR 650. Talk about one extreme to the other… now I’m back on a Goldwing.
