Alvin is dope. High level dynamics and power making it back into the highest levels of bboying contests?? Nice.
I see some comments saying Alvin has no footwork or toprocks...this guy isn't your typical power/dynamics bboy, anyone who knows breaking can see he has it all. The big crazy moves are just what he does best, but he also has style, a musical ear and great form. I'm so glad he finally got a big win, he's been killing it all year! 🔥

I expected Phil Wizard to win this easy but Alvin had so many signature moves left its scary where Phil used most of his already. Well deserved win!

Good battle, not sure how to call it. Alvin has power but lacking in top rock/floor works. Phil not as sharp as usual but solid. Would LOVE to see a rematch in the near future 💯

its not a fucking toprock contest, its a breaking contest and Alvins breaking is on a higher level.
when are people gonna realize that you have to judge on the skill and performance of the artform, not what category boxes you can tick off ?!?!?
@@grafflixx phil did more then just top rock. and alvin did no toprocks. in this battle phil brought variety compared to avlins power. of this was the case then all bboys should stop toprocking and just do power right? nah with that mentality you would get murked from someone with flava.
@@Hawaiianskater3 LOL Alvin is top rocking before going down on any moves, so he has top rocks, not just the kind of top rocks that is advanced, he also has great floorwork and flow, and he is not just doing power he does it Clean and with musicality. And why with the idea to let all bboys to stop toprocking and just do power? Lol What Alvin is doing is powerstyle not just power like Like Bboy Cico is doing "pure power" no musicality no flow no floorworks.
Other bboys who do powerstyle is bboy issei with great musicality the difference is just he's fast and hedoeso it most with ground power.
Well in this battleAlvinn clearly took it, PHil is kinda sloppy with his moves and a few crushes, whilst Alvin stays clean all three rounds and have a lot of signatures left. Well maybe in other occasion Phil can easily win against Alvin, Judging is all about what a bboys have done while on the battle , it's not about style vs power thing and shit.
All judges voted to Alvin instead of Ronnie and Ronnie is an BconeAllstar like phil, "teams mates" kinda bias there.
@@kenjisan5520 this is why phil did more toprocks because thats what alvin was lacking. a judge is supposed to see whos doing what. yeah alvin got power moves, but phil is answering with "what about your toprocks too"? but as a judge if phil is gonna toprock, then alvin should toprock better or have a better response. what judge would neglect what phil is doing and alvin ignoring? have all the power you want but if you cant answer back better then you arent the winner. this is no toprock contest or power move contest. someone does something and you try and top that. if hes bringing toprock then show him you can toprock better, not hide behind power moves with one indian step.
