What is up with the plate/cover around the thruster tube? Good luck cleaning the crevices when you get some growth in there. Those groves probably eat a half a knot of speed, too. For what the 60 costs this seems like a very poor design.
After looking at it again I bet they did it this way to reduce production costs of the mold and hull. Much easier to add a cover to enclose the tube than to make it solid and drill it out later. I realize that Beneteau is a production builder, but this is bush league hull design at any level.
These boats are dangerous!! Weak and cheap floating living rooms - Never use one for around the world blue water voyages - Sick of these companies building 'boats' to appeal to the wives.
The kind that thinks people who throw around opinions with no actual personal knowledge are full of it. There are a lot of boats in the 50-60' class out there. I'd love to hear why Beneteau yachts in general and the '60 in particular are cheap crap, but only from someone who knows what they are talking about. I go to the shows and all you hear is the sales patter from the reps, not any horror stories. If you own a Discovery or an Oyster or a Tayana or a Jeanneau then you might be worth learning something from, but otherwise you're just another invisible sphincter making noise.
You're an angry little fellow. If you have any real personal experience that can illuminate your opinion on the quality of Beneteau yachts, by all means offer it up. Otherwise, I'm not here to argue with an internet idiot. There are simply to many of you to fix.
Fantastic living spaces for this size sailing yacht.
Nice Boat. I play the lotto once a month so I have a 300,000,000:1 chance of owning one some day, whoohoo! ;-)

I can see why you call yourself surgeon. You have a fixation with sphincters. It is a shame that you cannot discern which one the shit exudes from.
