How does Zach not have over 100k subs yet? This dude consistently delivers no frills, hardcore golf content without all the clickbait and shenanigans. Keep up the great work Zach!
I wanna see Zach v Rick Shiels v Peter Finch as soon as this virus thing is over and international travel is fine again. Match play, 18 holes, winner gets the other persons subscribers.
The only thing I can guess is the amount he talks about things other than golf in between shots is a lot more than some other golf youtubers with more subscribers. I don’t mind it, but to the average viewer who has the attention span of a squirrel, I can see them getting annoyed and just wanting to see the golf and choosing not to watch his videos next time. He’s great if you ask me though!
Been watching your content for a while now Zac, I used to play golf when I was in high school. Now I’m in college and just started playing again a few months ago. I play about 3-4 times a week and hit on the range about 4 times every week. I have improved my game so much in just a short time. I shoot in the low forty’s and an occasional high 30. Love watching your videos and your tips helped me a lot in fixing my swing and just getting better at the game in general. Keep up the good work. If you’re ever in Arkansas, I’ll have to come watch you play a round.
They are bighorn sheep. The cactus is called purple prickly pear. They yield a fruit called “tuna” which can be consumed in a variety of modes. The tuna offer loads of vitamin C and the native Americans used the plant to reduce inflammation. I harvest the tuna, boil them for twenty minutes, and strain the juice. Add cinnamon and honey for taste and you have a nice elixir which helps the joints.
This video had everything Zac. Cool intro music, local flora and fauna and stunning scenery. Plus some of the best driving I've seen from you. Best golf content on UA-cam 👍
Dude I love love love all of your videos. Such an inspiration, tracer golf shots, and tee high and let it FLY! Play Fossil Trace in Golden CO, you won’t be disappointed!
Great video Zac! My fav golf course designers are: Alister Mackenzie and Pete Dye, because of their thorough design of every little hump, angles, and deception of looking wide open from the tees (which it isn't) to looking like a tunnel from the tee yet, opens up dramatically after 100 yards by the latter.
I’m lucky enough I get to play cascata just about every year and I’ve been trying to get one of the golf you tubers to play it for the last few years so happy one of my favorites finally did!!
LOVE all the commentary Zac! Going through your thought process on each shot really is helping me in terms of how I think around a golf course. Oh, and the remaining courses that were open in MN just closed today, so watching you golf on beautiful tracks keeps me going through our brutal winters! Keep up the good/fun work!
all of a sudden these are my favorite videos on UA-cam. easily best golf content. loving the front/back 9 two part vlogs, keep it up! and keep going to more amazing courses 😍
Great way to get my golf fix for the day! Started with George and MC at Bryan Bros and ended with a flourish with Mr.Cool, Zac in Nevada. Super solid nine and your putter is heating up. Way to go bro and thanks for all the work producing these great videos. Excellent content, graphics and editing. Stay safe and blessings from Richard in Cosby, east Tennessee. One Love People!!
I'm from the Northwest Ohio area and my favorite course designer is Arthur Hills (R.I.P. 2021) who is the 6th best course designer of All-Time. Had the absolute pleasure of caddying for his son John when I was a Caddie at the Famous INVERNESS CLUB of Toledo, Ohio from 2015-2016. If you're ever in the OH/MI area he has some really great tracks that should try and play. Keep up the amazing work and great video!
The rocks looked like sandstone with some iron oxide staining.😊 Also, due to the fairly fresh unweathered look of some of the rock behind a few of those tees and greens, it is entirely possible they dynamited them out.
I've played Cascata at least 4 times. Wonderful course and a ton of fun to play. Those greens are some of the best greens I have ever putted. Super quick but pure.
I haven't played very many of the big-name course designers, but of the ones I've played I think Pete Dye is my favorite. The only Rees Jones course I've played was Rio Secco, which I think is kind of a sister course to Cascata. I really enjoyed it.
Desert sheep are beautiful animals! And if that's a house, that's crazy. The metal framework, round shape and all the satellite towers make it hard to believe it's a house. But aside from that, great content Zac! You just put this course on a very long bucket list!
Great vid as always! Favorite designer is hard, there's so many but I'd go for a couple of underrated ones: The late Mike Strantz (Tobacco Road) and Rob Collins (Sweetens Cove). Couple of guys designed a back 9 to Sweetens in the PGA2K21 video game and Rob Collins went on a live stream with them and discussed the design as well as the history of the course. Just a genuine guy and Sweetens Cove is def on my bucket list!
Been privileged to play Augusta National and mystique-aside, I can't say I enjoyed that more than Cascata. It is an amazing course and overall experience. This brings back great memories. Hope I can make it out there again someday.
We call that area on view from 3 a dry lake although it's really just a low point in the valley where the rain water collects. Lots of people do off roading and stuff out there. I taught my daughter how to drive there 🤣 Love Pete Dye! Prickly pear cactus 🌵 Great vlog. Was surprised you didn’t spend more time showing the creek that runs through the clubhouse. Can't wait to see how you do on the back nine.
Great content man! My wife and I are going to be taking lessons this weekend in St George, hoping golf will be our new hobby! Your videos get me super excited!
I'm a David McLay Kidd design fan. Love what he continues to do at Gamble Sands here in Washington. I enjoy the detail of your narrative on each shot. Much success Zac.
Love the content. You playing at great courses helps me figure out where to go play and its motivating to watch you destroy it from the back tees. I just travelled to play Wolf Creek because of your videos there
Zac God bless you for shooting this video... man what a place! I have been to Nevada/Vegas but never got to play golf whilst there... next time I come to US you and I are going there... and then when we have finished our tour ... you are coming to Aus and Queenstown in NZ to play!
I think the pink Cactus just means it's dying! Moved out to Vegas (from Nashville) last fall. Haven't played Cascata yet but hoping to get out there before summer! Cheers.
wow, cool rock! haha Anyway, Donald Ross fan. Lotta those around here. Grew up caddying on one...my home course was another one, and before I even realized what golf course design was, I fell in love with his style. Unfortunately don't have one super close to me at the moment, so playing a Geoffrey Cornish track now, which isn't all that far removed from a Ross course. I dig it.
Great playing Zac! Hope you got to play Bear’s Best, Rio Secco, and Paiute - Wolf...3 of my favorites while stationed in Vegas, but I never played Cascata. Also, that desert area you asked about in right next to the biggest solar panel field I’ve ever seen.
Hey Zac greetings from Mexico!! Love your videos, the format is great as you explain the course conditions and your game plan in every hole, like what club you are using. The best in UA-cam, keep the videos coming our way
Another great vid Zac. I'm taking notes on some of the courses you've played in the desert southwest. I'm from Carmel but that region and southern Oregon is where I like to play. My favorite GC architects? Mackenzie and Fazio.
I played this course end of March. Awesome Track, one of my favs. You scored much better than I did though.(LOL). Always look forward to your videos, keep them coming!!!
Our guys annual golf trip to LV has played many courses over the years but this one is ALWAYS on the list. The greens are so hard to read until you remember everything runs back to the valley. Your shots on 18 (hitting somewhat blind) were amazing - never seen anyone reach the green in two! Tom Fazio and Pete Dye from the modern era and Donald Ross from the old school. And a question. If you had only one course to play - everything being equal - is it Wolf Creek or Cascata?
Beautiful course, driven by several times, it’s a bit out of my price range. There’s another course not to far from there in Boulder called Boulder Creek, very nice course! Great playing Zac!
How does Zach not have over 100k subs yet? This dude consistently delivers no frills, hardcore golf content without all the clickbait and shenanigans. Keep up the great work Zach!

Pete Dye has to be the greatest course designer of all time.
He’s one of my favorites for sure!
Looks great, Zac. We appreciate the opportunity to partner up with you. Can't wait to see the back nine. Nice playing, btw.
Beautiful course, well done to all!!
So glad y’all enjoyed and can’t thank you enough for having me out! Y’all have an absolute gem of a course!
The intro gets me pumped every time.

This western side trip to all these courses has been your best stuff yet!
Awesome to hear 👊
Quickly becoming my fav. golf channel with vlogs like this. Just unreal quality. Great job Zac!

You are crushing the new SIM2 driver - best I've ever seen you drive the ball.
Jacob is right! I decided to stick with the M3 for now but really appreciate it 👊
Nice course! That tee shots on #2 and #5 were pure. Another great video.
Much love 👊
Lmaoooo i thought those rams were statues until i saw them breathing 😂😂😂
Thanks though that was crazy too 😂
That entrance out of the cart barn with those double doors looked like something straight out of Disneyland!
Agreed!!
The building on the mountain is a VOR for navigation for airplanes. Great round, though!
Thanks so much for letting me know and I appreciate it 👊
That’s no house. Thats a VORTAC aviation navigation aid. Great video as usual! Can’t wait to play this course.
Ahhh gotcha! Thanks for letting me know!
