The 2012 Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire Family Open Day and Rally was held at their West Cumbria depot in Workington.
Stagecoach Bus Depot, Blackwood Road, Lillyhall Industrial Estate,
Workington, CA14 4JW.
Filmed on Saturday June 2nd 2012. The open day opening times was 10am to 4pm.
They are celebrating 100 years of Cumberland Motor Services, originally founded at Whitehaven Motor Services in 1912.
You could see behind the scenes at a bus depot and witness a display of buses past and present. There was a host of attractions during the day with many transport related stalls. Although aimed at the enthusiast, there was something for all to enjoy. Refreshment stalls were available for a range of ice creams, hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Throughout the day there was members of our staff on hand to offer any assistance you may need. These people were easily recognisable by the green Stagecoach sweatshirts they are wearing.
There was a FREE shuttle service operating every 30 minutes from Workington Bus Station and FREE entry on arrival.
