    Let’s be clear about something, this is MY review and OPINION about these. It makes sense for me as an Amazon associate to tell people that these are great and you should buy them. I would make a lot of money off sales. I would also lose credibility if I didn’t point out the flaws. So I’ve LOST money by pointing out these flaws. I’ve also pissed off the company so I can forget them sending me anything in the future. Oh well. I don’t like the fact that the mic is on the left side and they aren’t very loud. That’s it. Otherwise they’re fine. If you disagree, feel free to do your own review.

    Just purchased these I'm a truck driver. They are aimed at truckers avaliable exclusively at Loves travel centers. Haven't had any issues with phone calls. My gripe is you have to manually power one each earphone. No auto ear detention. No app for headset or to do software updates. You can't charge in the carrying case have to remove the base. Do agree it needs to b a little louder.

      Yeah they aren’t horrible, I just think there are way better options for the money.

      They have that separate power on feature for a reason so if you only want to use one. If you just read the manual it plainly tells you to push the button on these charger while both ear pieces are inserted and they both come in. Push the button on the charger twice and they will turn off or if you want to you can put them on and individually turn one on at a time.

    Being a truck driver, I use Shokz with Mic never had aissue and love them, and I was thinking about getting these S30 today until another truck driver told me about the Pro & Cons he had with them and for me to go see the review videos before purchasing.

      Good call!! The company did reach out in an email and said they are going to update it at some point. Right before they asked me to take the video down.

    TBH, these are not horrible but at this price point, I just don’t see paying that kind of money when there are better options out there.

      Finally a review by someone wearing glasses! Not finished with video yet but how is it wearing headset and glasses at same time?? I currently use a bone conduction headset, aftershokz open comm. Price point is about the same I think, one complaint is need more volume sometimes when watching movies

    • @ChadsGarage1

      If you’re in a quiet environment these would be fine. No discomfort with the glasses. I gifted them to my son who also wears glasses and he loves them. For my application, driving truck in a construction environment they were not loud enough. Goes with the territory for these kinds of headsets.

      I’m receiving a box of new headsets later today. May want to subscribe to see if any of those will fit your needs. I’ll be testing them next week and start putting out my results after that. I always test them in the real world (truck) to see if they’ll be a good fit. I could have made a lot of money by promoting the S30s but I just don’t feel like they would be good for truckers.

      Thank you for raising this question. Before the problem of low sound, we are considering the safety of driving, and we are currently adjusting the sound size of headsets. As for ENC noise reduction, we are also adjusting the ratio between noise reduction and sound distortion, which will ensure you have a better product experience, thank you!

    • @ChadsGarage1
      @ChadsGarage1  5 місяців тому

      @@EKSAtech you guys marketed this to me as a viable option for truck drivers. This can be a noisy environment, hence the noise canceling mic. Just add more volume to the speakers and it will be a decent product. It’s a decent product if you’re not a truck driver.

  • @JBECMADNIC

    Don't listen to this guy or the fake mic quality that he is producing somehow. I am an OTR trucker and have tryed almost every headset at the truck stops. These are actually great for phone calls and music. The noise canceling mic is actually one of the best. Better than the Blue parrot and Rand McNally over ear and on ear. If you've used the Shokz opencomm2, the mic is a touch better than that even. I had a little bit of difficulty hearing people on calls with the shokz opencomm2 while driving or outside the truck but loved the comfort, battery life and just everything about them. The audio is just not there yet, at least for me. The Eksa s30 on the other hand has very nice audio quality and have to actually turn the volume down some while driving. Plenty loud enough, I have two phones and have tested myself talking both ways with all of my headsets and this in is all around the best yet. If you're expecting studio quality for music than, no, this is not for you and not what they are designed for. They sound great but not studio quality.

      @@JBECMADNIC fake mic quality? Interesting. Did you hear me say that I drive a DUMP TRUCK and it’s not good for ME in a noisy environment? I don’t get the luxury of driving down the highway with my windows up. So these don’t work for ME in my situation. I thought I made that pretty clear in the video.

      Everyone was sent this unit for free. It’s not my job to tell people a lie if I don’t like something. I lose credibility if I push products I don’t believe in. Believe me, I would make more money on the back end with Amazon sales if I told people I liked it. And I do t hate it. I just think it should be improved at that price point. Honestly, people look at reviews to see if their hard earned money should be spent on a particular item. If I don’t think it’s worth it, I say it. EKSA sent me another item and I thought it was fantastic. But this one? No. Are they mad at me? Probably. But I must maintain credibility. Thanks for watching.

    • @neil78b
      @neil78b 3 місяці тому +1

      That’s because he’s comparing them to in-ear and full size headsets which he shouldn’t. These are to be an upgrade or comparable to the bone conduction headsets and by that metric, these are 1000 times better, hence the great reviews. So, if you have something like the Aftershokz bone conduction headset, these will be a much welcomed better sound and battery life.

      @ChadsGarage1 for one i Wear glasses and the behind the ear thing is uncomfortable after about an hour. Also the sound quality is not bad when it comes to music or calls ,but not the best either. For me i keep coming back to airpod pros. I'm not Iphone guy but airpods great music sound and decent calls. Downside to airpod pros are the people on the other end can hear background noise. If you wanna try these headphones, you can have mine for a 110. Lol

    • @ChadsGarage1
      @ChadsGarage1  4 місяці тому +1

      @johnnygonzalez3513 lol. I’ve tried the AirPod Pros and had the same thoughts. I’ve got a playlist of other headsets you might want to try. I wear glasses too and it’s hard to find any that won’t annoy or get uncomfortable after a while. Blue Tiger Storm in Black is probably the most comfortable I’ve tried.
