Ep 3 - East Arnhemland - in Our Isuzu NPS 4x4 - Garma Festival - Bremmer Island - Fishing - Goanna Lagoon
After making our way to East Arnhemland, we find ourselves immersed in the indigenous culture of the Garma Festival (the largest indigenous cultural gathering in Australia).
We then do some island hopping and end up on Bremmer Island where Mum battles sea/morning sickness. Where things go from bad to worse and we begin to think we may have to spend the night on the island.
Eavie gets sent to the naughty corner for loosing one to many fish off her line during their day out on the boat 😆
..and we end it all with a refreshing dip at the famous Goanna Lagoon.

You Guys would have to take first prize for the best family the best rig the best places you could go in Australia. The set up is first class you could spend a lot more money for a rig but it doesn’t mean you would end up with anything better than this rig. A great example of a lovely family making great videos in this great country 😊😊 John

I watched about 2 hours of the Garma festival on NITV when it was televised and the dancing was awesome, with the men with full on traditional paint and clothes and taking and teaching the kids along with them and the women’s dancing was very cool too, I’d really love the chance to see that on country one day

Evi. The closer to the boat you get your fish, keep your rod down. It makes the angle from rod to fish harder for the fish to throw the hook.

Another great Video, what a spectacular country we have, so glad these areas look to be free of nut job politicians, keep going Cartwrights. That island was beautiful, so pleased they relocated you all by vehicle to another beach location. Definitely learn your Tradewinds, the wind against tide’s. Wind strength, This is what sailors do, the key to safety on board vessels. Do they have airlift chopper in this region for emergencies? don’t be afraid to to pack an extra epurb for your small vessel, cost benefit to you all should you need it for life saving..

Some of the seeds up north are so hardy that they need fire to open. Regular burning keeps the fuel levels down.
You guys should load your rig on a boat and go explore Africa or Eastern Europe. Would be awesome footage.

Cheap as chips..if it wasn’t free, it was only like $10 or something (can’t remember sorry). But we went on the last day (the only day that was open to the general public). The other days were for corporate and I believe those tickets were in excess of $2,000 😱
