Hey everyone! I checked my serial number and my Blendjet isn’t part of the 12/29 recall that was just issued. To check if yours is you can visit their official website and enter your serial number. Get yours replaced asap if it is!
Good evening Barbara. I enjoyed your review very much, and also your smoothie suggestion. I have one coming this week and I will certainly be trying your recipe. Thank you! :0)
I have used this for awhile and agree it was a game changer from the shaker style protein cups. It has a fun recipe book and you can make good dressings etc with it too
I really like the blender. It's amazing. I've done on a good stuff with it. The first time I used it. I did a nice coffee and it came out really good. I've also have done smoothies and it's a pretty powerful blender. But now when it comes to high and solids like frozen fruit, and for example, when I did the iced coffee, it kind of struggled with the ice as it was breaking it, but so far it has been a great blender.
I just got this and love it. I made my usual fruit and protein powder smoothie. Perfect. Later I threw in cold water, 1 Crystal light pink lemonade and plenty ice. I made the best slushy. I have seen criticism on some video reviews. They all don’t read the instructions and put the fruit first, or a bunch of almonds to make butter. None of the gadgets I’ve bought come with a charger so I have a station with all the various cords. For what it is meant for the Blendjet is so much better than my past ninjas, magic bullets and blenders.
I have 2, both recalled! For the recall, You have to submit a claim by destroying yours and upload a picture, after you do this the site won't complete the claim so your screwed. You rendered yours not usable and don't get a new one.
My Blendjet2 was recalled. I sure miss my Blendjet. Ever since they told me to destroy mine because it was unsafe, I haven't bought another because I believed Blendjet when they said they would mail me another. I travel for work, so my blendjet was my way of making my lunch, but not now. I guess I'll have to break down and find another more reliable. What's sad is I never had a problem with the one I was told to destroy.
We have 2 6 months later Red one Doesn’t hold Charge for more than 2 cycles. Purple one just stated to do the same! I do not recommend this product 2:07
NOT for keto coffee. NOT for hot liquids.. So I ended up using gorilla glue to attach the jar and base. That worked fine. Permanent af. Add an ice cube to clean, the ice is a scrubbing thing
It's not a very smart idea to permanently join the jar to the base because the silicone rings need to be removed and the whole blender needs to be deep cleaned often.
I bought my Blendjet 2 for $25 at Walmart. And, while I share all the complaints about it that this reviewer has, it's still worth the price. Even though, I think paying $50 for this mini-blender would be paying a bit too much. However, $25-$35 would be about the right price for what you'll be getting in return.
All of these can be done with traditional mixer-grinders too. They have more power and don’t need to worry about the charge since you can connect it to the plug point directly and use. Blendjet became successful purely due to marketing.
Not that it is cordless and operated with battery . What if you are in a place where there is no plug point or you are travelling ? Or there is no electricity for a whole day for people like us in india ?
Who takes fruits, milk, and a blender with them wherever they go?? 😂 If you’re going to the gym, you can always prepare the milkshake or smoothie at home and bring it with you in a bottle. If you’re going elsewhere, just buy a smoothie from a shop. This portability feature doesn’t make any sense. It’s not just the blender you’re carrying; you need the groceries to prepare the smoothie/milkshake too. Also, what do you mean by “people like us in India”? I live in India, and we don’t have any electricity issues. Only extremely remote places might lack electricity for a whole day. Even BlendJet needs electricity for charging.
@@aravindaby4152 you don’t have doesn’t means all are privileged . In my place almost everyday the power will go for some reason or the other . Recently it was from noon till 11.30 night . I have a family member who will only take liquids even rice in the form of liquid . Isn’t this a blessing for me?
@@scorpio9968 I understand your situation. In such specific cases it would be useful. But in general it is not a great product is what I meant. This is like having a tube light Vs emergency lamp. When the power is out emergency lamp becomes useful.

Oh that’s a great idea! Didn’t even think about slushies 🙌🏻
0:53 😂😂
Few days ago I received my blendjet. I filled water and forgot the lid cause I was testing by curiousity. I sprayed almost half of the water.
😂

That’s crazy they have you destroy your unit and upload proof! Mine wasn’t part of the recall but I hope you get your two units replaced! 😳

It’s wild that Blendjet is making people destroy their units without having replacements ready on hand. How do they even have you destroy it?
I suggest you don't believe in them. They take forever to ship out the replacements.

I love my Cinderella one.
Blendjet is a pure quality product and their customer service team are simply deflecting any problems by making promises they don't keep.

@@viennawaits4u36 totally agree! $25 $30 dollar range would be perfect for this!

Much too weak. Can’t make real smoothies with yoghurt and frozen fruit.
I do agree it was having a hard time when I was trying to blend frozen mango chunks. I had to shake it several times before it worked.
Trash product poor customer service. Don’t last long.
Once again you don't know if this piece of crap is charged or what it is doing. Total waste of money.
