I love that the Aldi grocery hauls are soft spoken, not whispered. They are hands down the BEST videos to fall asleep to. Waking up in the middle of the night to pee and hearing you wax poetic about hot dog buns is the life, let me tell you, thank you girl, so much for making my life a little easier to relax and enjoy the small things!!! God Bless 😊✌️❤️
My husband and I went to Aldi recently and got that pineapple salsa because I knew you really liked it. Once we got home he dropped it and it shattered. Now I've got to replace the salsa and the husband. Lol
As a German, I was really excited when I saw this video and I was also curious to see how authentic the foods would be, and I must say that these products are all german classics 😅 especially spätzle, peanut puffs and müsli 😉 But I've never ever heard of "herbs of the alps" and I grew up and still live directly at the alps 😅
Every video whispered or soft spoken..role play..shopping hauls..goodwill jewelry bags..cooking..all GOLD!! I loved you reading your book. Which was so good!! I love seeing your everyday Mary blog videos. A simply amazing person. I don't know how you do it all. You are amazing!! Thank you for putting me to sleep. Thank you for making me laugh. Thanks for the beauty tips. Best neck cream and mascara ever!
LOVE your hauls and makeup/face products/door prize hauls! You pick the best items, and everything you recommend is always wonderful. You. Are. Amazing! Thank you for doing the hard work with your videos after your day job and raising kids.
As a German I have also never heard of alp herbs lol The spritz cookies we do have at Aldi here but some of the imported stuff must be specifically produced for the US market. I'm actually from a town famous for mustard but I don't care for it much. Fascinating to see you buy three different jars of it haha
Almost every time I go to Aldi there is some woman complaining about the cart situation. Last time she said “why don’t they just pay someone to take care of the carts?” 🤦🏻♀️ ma’am they have a store for that where you can pay twice the price! The entire reason aldi is cheap is because they cut down on costs like that
Mary I swear you must be the only person in the world to notice that the Aldi bread logo has a little wheat spear crossing the F - but it must make some corporate brand designer feel very loved and seen. 😂
I didn’t know I needed an Aldi haul until just now. Also, my first job was as a bagger & stocker at a mom ‘n’ pop grocery store with no scanners! Use the whole grain mustard on brats; hot dog; or - my fave - US pigs in a blanket.
Covered in bar codes. It looks like it went out on a summer evening and got mosquito bites all over. What a treat to listen to you... Simple words put together- Let's hear your poetry, pla-ezzzze!
Those peanut puffs remind me of a snack called Bamba (It’s Israeli I believe, they carry it at European grocery stores near by - sadly no Aldi for us Canadians). Thank you for sharing this lovely video Mary! These hauls are always such a treat to watch 🥰🙌
They should have bamba at the kosher loblaws’ or Nofrills! Sometimes small European specialty shops too. You may also really love the Nutella filled bamba 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Nice to see they do German weeks in the US. I just wish they would do a legit American week in Germany with actual American products like the "Everything but the Bagel" dupe etc. Not just like an "American Style Pizza" and some popcorn. 😄 And Herbs of the Alps is just a marketing spin to sell these potatoes. No special herbs in the Alps, just the regular ones that survive the cold winters and wet summers. What does "naturally flavoured" mean? That some machine threw the flavour naturally over the potatoes? 🤔 Wouldn't it be "natural flavour" if they used natural flavour? Whatever natural means? Can also be some flavour made out of mould (what they - not Aldi in particular - do). "Spätzle" (actually with an Umlaut) are from a pretty region in the Southwest of Germany. It's called Swabia - Schwaben. It lies in a federate state of Baden-Württemberg. Next to Bavaria. For the Bavarian sweet mustard I recommend going to a German butcher and get you some "Weißwurst" from Munich. Perfect fit
I like the soft spoken stuff because I can listen in the living room without it seeming too odd to others. Whispering is good too but this and the mac n cheese video have been super relaxing for me today! :)
Love your food grocery hauls Mary! Back in the 90s my family and I lived in MO and would shop at Aldi! They always had good prices and the family was able to afford buying the stuff! Great video!!!
Once again an I had to keep from passing out here lol! You and Maria aka Gentlewhispering our my favs to go to after a stressful day! But I have to say you have passed her by far:) Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication for the ASMR community. Love your voice!
I just started using ALDIs Tunstil Laundry soap not sure if that was the name but it’s incredible and only costs me $5 for a nice size bottle. Aldi Rocks!
I finally moved to a town with an Aldi's and I have been shopping there weekly. I think of you every time I go shopping! I just tried the keto bread, it was really good. And you're right, I've saved money on my grocery bill shopping there.
You can buy the Bavarian pretzels in the freezer section at Aldi to dip in the mustards or just regular pretzels for that matter. Pretzels and mustard go great together 😊✌️
Im from Denmark, and I get so much joy from seeing the differences from the US to here, in Denmark, in grocery items, and youre also very funny with your commentary! Overall just wanted to say i love your videos, Mary 💚
Also peanut puffs are so normal here, but i laughed when you said it wouldve been a pregnancy craving for you, because thats so true lol. It hits an odd spot 🤩
Love Aldi….love your videos! You have the most calming voice & demeanor! I have to be careful watching in the day cuz it’s so calming & makes me sleepy. I mean this in the best way! Lol. Enjoy your weekend!
I am watching your Aldi haul and making notes on what to look for when I go to Aldi next week. Everything looks delicious! Hope your allergies are not too bad- here in NJ the pine trees are leaving green pollen on everything and making me itch. Have a great day, Mary 💙
my mom always shopped at aldi when I was growing up, and i always thought it was weird but since becoming an adult, I used to shop at walmart exclusively for my groceries but recently my boyfriend and I have been going to aldi for produce, lunch meat, cheese and bread etc. and we dont spend more than $50 a week there. for the same amount of groceries we were spending almost double at walmart for items that are literally the same minus the brands
I think the shoestring potatoes you were talking about from childhood were Pik-Nik brand! My grandma would always have them when I was a kid and I LOVED them! 💛
Wow. ALDI US has a good range and cheap !! Here in Australia, ALDI is still the cheaper grocery option and love shopping there. Your right about the cashier's they're grease lightning when scanning your shopping.
Those peanut puffs are usually referred to as Bamba, (they are a traditional Israeli snack), if you have a Trader Joe’s anywhere by you, you should definitely stop in to pick up their Bamba. They do large bags of the plain peanut butter and a Bamba that is chocolate dipped as well. They also do small, individual bags of peanut butter Bamba filled with hazelnut filling. They are SO delicious you can eat the whole bag in the blink of an eye. 😂
Thanks for the link on the last video. The closet one here in Texas is about 2 hours away from where I live. The closest to an Aldi store down here would be like H.E.B or Sams Club or even Walmart
I am watching this video and love it how in USA Aldi has better variety of items than here in Australia. I have been shopping at Aldi since they opened and the variety is no where near than yours. Prices used to be better than other supermarkets, however, blame it on covid as they do,prices have gone up immensely. And still no toilet paper at my local Aldi😆😆😆😆
I have to admit it felt strange when you picked up the filled cookies that said ”biscuit” when for years I’ve been watching your videos and accustomed hearing you only talking about biscuit when you refer to the scone type of thingie, not sweet cookies!😂 I think it’s so cool how things are said and words used around the world! It keeps things interesting, haha!
Aldi and Lidl is like Coke and Pepsi here in Germany. Usually you prefer just one of them. I remember Aldi from the 70's and 80's. They were only selling stuff that needed no cooling (mostly canned) and that right from the box/pallet, nothing fancy* but dirt cheap.
1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup Whole grain mustard (or country/grainy mustard) 1 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt Freshly ground black pepper Juice of 1 lemon Great marinade for grilled chicken breast
Mary I don’t know if you ever make roast pork or beef… But that whole grain mustard would be wonderful mixed up with some other spices over a roast loin of pork! I do that all the time and it’s so yummy
I LOVE German food. My grandma and grandpa or literally called " Oma and Opa." I love you more than some stupid comment or text can convey. Cherry Valley Illinois loves you
Käse Spätzle is like the German or Austrian Mac n cheese! Always eat it when in the Alps. It is delicious! You can probably find a recipe in English somewhere. Worth a try😊
The hashbrown style potato sticks definitely have the onion powder flavor. I did not care for them because that flavor was so strong. My husband and daughter love them tho!
Always interesting how the official inflation rate pales in comparison to these price increases at the grocery store! Some of these items increased by 30-50%!
German person here and I have never seen half of these products here. But maybe because Aldi is relatively expensive in comparison to other German supermarkets.
Where do you come from? I'm really curious, because I'm from NRW and Aldi ist definitely one of the cheapest. Aldi, Lidl, Netto and Penny are very similar cheap and the pricey ones are Edeka, Rewe and Real. Kaufland and Kaufpark are in the middle.
We have an Aldi nearby but it is so rundown. I am not sure if it is just this branch but I want to like it so bad after seeing your videos....hmmm maybe I'll try to visit another branch. Thank you for this video!
You have great soothing voice soft speaking suits you very well. Whispering is good for people with bad voices lol ... but I enjoy your videos so much because I can feel you calming nurturing energy through the screen! I'm usually very fiery and tense a leo ♌ 😬 😅 so I enjoy your water like energy. Are you water sign ?? Pisces, scorpio, or cancer ?
I like Aldi cereal more than big stores too! A lot of their foods have less sugar. I stopped shopping breakfast and many other things from Walmart I rather go to Meijer or aldi
It sounds like prices around there are also creeping up. If I earlier chose to shop in lidl (In Finland) that was because I liked their products better, but nowadays I have to buy groceries from them because the prices are getting higher everywhere and lidl is the only place I can afford to shop 😬

I love this comment lol
The way Mary ooos and ahhhs at the packaging soothes the soul lol "happy little french fries" we love you Mary "Bob" Ross
Oh I love your grocery hauls Mary. I love how you speak about the items with such enthusiasm.
My husband and I went to Aldi recently and got that pineapple salsa because I knew you really liked it. Once we got home he dropped it and it shattered. Now I've got to replace the salsa and the husband. Lol
Oh no! 🤣

I buy about 80% of my groceries from Aldi now because of you and I’m so grateful! Isles saved me about $50 a week honestly.
When I lived in MO back in the 90s my family visited Aldi because they had good prices and the family couldn't afford expensive food.
Every video whispered or soft spoken..role play..shopping hauls..goodwill jewelry bags..cooking..all GOLD!! I loved you reading your book. Which was so good!! lebst du unter nem stein? auf den Ricola salbei bonbons steht doch 1:1 Schweizer Alpenkräuter drauf..

I live for these videos. They help me fall asleep when just nothing else can. Horray soft spoken. Thank you!
Those Boulder napkins are no joke! I love those things! Thank Mary 💛
Mary I swear you must be the only person in the world to notice that the Aldi bread logo has a little wheat spear crossing the F - but it must make some corporate brand designer feel very loved and seen. 😂

We eat whole grain mustard with white german sausages for breakfast (called Weißwurst) 😋
This churros look amazing!!! I always love these shopping trips!
Covered in bar codes. It looks like it went out on a summer evening and got mosquito bites all over.
What a treat to listen to you...

They also sell Peanut Butter Bamba at Trader Joe’s. Not sure if you have TJ’s in Canada though.
@@mjgee2713 the Trader Joe’s version is also significantly better priced then the Bamba name brand! 99 cents in the Boston Area 🤟
We sadly don’t have Trader Joe’s either in Canada 🥹🥲
I love bamba!! It’s israeli and often found in the kosher section in Uk stores
They should have bamba at the kosher loblaws’ or Nofrills! Sometimes small European specialty shops too. You may also really love the Nutella filled bamba 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
u have such a calming kind energy!!! amazing video
Aldis is definitely my favorite place. I never noticed the barcodes everywhere.

I eat that salad a couple times a week for lunch. Love it.
Love when you do these Aldi haul vids so I can see what they have, the dollar tree ones too 🤣
Love soft spoken
We are about to move to a state with an Aldi in it and I can't wait to check it out.
The almost touch sends chills up my spine
I love these videos because I get some great money saving ideas that are very helpful.
Love this video it’s so relaxing. I’m on the mend from c v 1 niner got it for the first time, glad the fever broke.
Glad you’re getting better. Sending love and prayers.
"maybe I just fell off the turnip truck" hahaha

They built an Aldi not far from my house. I really need to check it out.
You won't regret it
These will never get old ❤
Love Aldi….love your videos! You have the most calming voice & demeanor! I have to be careful watching in the day cuz it’s so calming & makes me sleepy. I mean this in the best way! Lol. Enjoy your weekend!
I couldn’t help but grin - been on an Aldi’s Santa Fe style salad kick lately :) Glad to know you’re also a fan!
Holy moly those little salads are like $4.89 at all stores near me! Aldi has great prices!
I am watching your Aldi haul and making notes on what to look for when I go to Aldi next week. Everything looks delicious! Hope your allergies are not too bad- here in NJ the pine trees are leaving green pollen on everything and making me itch. Have a great day, Mary 💙

I’m watching this four weeks too late! I really want to go try out some of these German snacks! They sound interesting.
Also, I adore your Aldi hauls. The crinkles are my fave!💖
I just went and got German food today from Aldi!
Much Love from Germany ❤️ I should also go to Aldi more often
Yes, an Aldi haul video. My favorite!
Greetings from Germany! I love your video! 🤗
I think the shoestring potatoes you were talking about from childhood were Pik-Nik brand! My grandma would always have them when I was a kid and I LOVED them! 💛
No, it was French's. I looked it up after the video.
Wow. ALDI US has a good range and cheap !! Here in Australia, ALDI is still the cheaper grocery option and love shopping there. Your right about the cashier's they're grease lightning when scanning your shopping.
I love peanut puffs but in the UK I can usually only get them during american week .Will definitely have to try with Nutella. Love your channel ❤
Try bamba, usually in the kosher section of supermarkets or world foods
@@Ggxbgdryvxd thanks I'll look out for them

The Nutella filled bamba are DEADLY 🤤
This was so calming
My mom loves the Santa Fe salads from Aldi too haha. She also says they are the best. Love your videos
Thanks for the link on the last video. The closet one here in Texas is about 2 hours away from where I live. The closest to an Aldi store down here would be like H.E.B or Sams Club or even Walmart
I visited Texas twice & really love HEB!
I am watching this video and love it how in USA Aldi has better variety of items than here in Australia. I have been shopping at Aldi since they opened and the variety is no where near than yours. We had a Aldi in Wisconsin in 08 and later and we have a Aldi in Missouri all over
Aldi and Lidl is like Coke and Pepsi here in Germany. Usually you prefer just one of them. I remember Aldi from the 70's and 80's. They were only selling stuff that needed no cooling (mostly canned) and that right from the box/pallet, nothing fancy* but dirt cheap.
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup Whole grain mustard (or country/grainy mustard)
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
Great marinade for grilled chicken breast
That sounds good! Saving that for next time I make chicken
Thank you for sharing! 😀
I've always eaten my cereal dry, too. One, I'm allergic to dairy and two, I hate the idea of my cereal getting all soggy.
Cherry Valley Illinois loves you
those lemon cookies are my fav 😍 🤤🤤
I live in Kansas and we’ve had Aldi here for at least 20 years. Though it’s a lot nicer now than it used to be.
Oh Mary!! I got the same outdoor mat🥰 it’s very pretty
*Mary’s laptop fan starts whirring*
Mary: Wheeeeee!
*Lapton fan whirs louder*
Mary: WHEEEEEEEE!!!!
Käse Spätzle is like the German or Austrian Mac n cheese! Always eat it when in the Alps. It is delicious! You can probably find a recipe in English somewhere. Worth a try😊
I'll DEFINITELY eat that on my next trip to the Alps. Definitely.
wholegrain mustard makes a great sauce for chicken :)
"Aggressively crinkly." 😂 Love it!
I wish we had a Aldi
Love ur videos Mary Ur a dolll
They sell peanut corn puffs in the baby aisle at Walmart!
With all the peanut allergies in kids, I have to wonder how safe that is...
Those noodles are great and hard to find , good buy Mary!
the egg noodles are great 👍 we had them with gravy and turkey meatballs
The hashbrown style potato sticks definitely have the onion powder flavor. I did not care for them because that flavor was so strong. My husband and daughter love them tho!
Put those mustards on a hotdog, hot pretzel, roast beef sandwich, or a ham sandwich. Yummy!
Me as a German confused- Isn’t Aldi a German supermarket? Why does Aldi have a „German“ week? 😅
Here in Germany Aldi has just normal stuff.
But we do have british / American / Spanish etc weeks at Aldi Germany. And the Alpenfest products every once in a while.
As I explained in the video, they offer items during "German week" that aren't available year-round...just during that particular period of time.
Always interesting how the official inflation rate pales in comparison to these price increases at the grocery store! Some of these items increased by 30-50%!
I wish they sold here in The Netherlands, the stuff Aldi sells in the USA
Your accent is just so charming and beautiful :)
Love your ASMR
German person here and I have never seen half of these products here. But maybe because Aldi is relatively expensive in comparison to other German supermarkets.
Interesting. Here in the states, Aldi is relatively less expensive in comparison to the average American supermarket.
I love Biscuitville they have good hashbrowns and good sandwiches for breakfast here in Wake Forest NC
We have an Aldi nearby but it is so rundown. I am not sure if it is just this branch but I want to like it so bad after seeing your videos....hmmm maybe I'll try to visit another branch. Thank you for this video!
You are so welcome! 😊
Love your haul videos!
Shoe Strings!
I’ve had the split pea soup from that same brand and I hated it. But the lentil soup’s look good. You’ll have to let us know how they are.
Have you ever used the twice as nice guarantee, Mary? I have bought a couple misses from Aldi but never took it back because I was too nervous 😅
She told us in one of her videos around 2-3yrs ago that she has returned a pack of bacon and a tin of nuts if I remember correctly
The muesli is very good on yogurt 👍👍
I like Aldi cereal more than big stores too! A lot of their foods have less sugar. I stopped shopping breakfast and many other things from Walmart I rather go to Meijer or aldi
Those egg noodles are perfect for chicken noodle soup!
The potato sticks were Planters maybe?
It sounds like prices around there are also creeping up. If I earlier chose to shop in lidl (In Finland) that was because I liked their products better, but nowadays I have to buy groceries from them because the prices are getting higher everywhere and lidl is the only place I can afford to shop 😬
I wish we had an Aldi in India.
Did anyone else hear it as "Santa Face Salad" at first, or just me? Ahahah
Pik-Niks, best potato sticks on the market. Thats the cylinder
French's comes in a cylinder, too. That's what my mom used to buy.
