If Fez wasn't your favorite, what cities were your favorite in Morocco? We're having trouble deciding which cities to go and which to skip so any suggestions that you have will be much appreciated. Many thanks!
It's very personal! We've heard people saying they did love Fez. We personally preferred Marrakech as it had more beautiful sights to visit. Other than that, we liked more of the nature places in Morocco (not too much the cities - but that's also just because we're not big city people). Chefchaouen is beautiful, Merzouga Desert, Aït Ben Haddou, the Atlas Mountains and Dades & Todra Gorge were amazing. Essaouira was alright as a city.
Yes you can! We bought ours at the airport and they'll just activate it for you on your smartphone. It was 300 Dirham for 30GB of data. That's about 30US$
the best part about this is that you can recharge your sim card anywhere at the small kiosks, it costs 10 Dirham for 1GB of recharge. so depending on how long you stay you dont need to take 30GB, I used 6GB in 2 weeks for example.
There are a few hints throughout the video... like most important historical attractions weren't accessible... so that was a bit of a letdown for us. It also felt like people were constantly trying to trick us or scam us, especially in the medina.
There were quite a few reasons actually... the old town was quite dirty, the scams were the worst in all of Morocco (we felt like everyone in town tried to constantly scam us - no joke), and a lot of the cool attractions that they promote, like the claimed "oldest university in the world", weren't open to the public... it was unfortunate but we talked to other people and many say they didn't like it as much either. It might still be worth for a day, but don't spend 5 days there like we did 😅
Not inside the medina! Download the App "maps.me" for a more accurate map. It really worked well for us! And don't let anyone misguide you... sometimes people will say "the street is closed" but they just say that so they can guide you and ask money.
Hi! We were in Morocco for about 3.5 weeks. We rented a car ourselves, but got a lot of speeding tickets... there are police everywhere at checkpoints. Taxis and tuk-tuks in the cities are definitely everywhere and a good option. There are some bus options between major tourist destinations, but you need to plan in advance a bit and it can be confusing where to find accurate information on bus timings and pickup locations. Best option would be having a private car drive you around the country if you can afford it. Or if you want to go slower, then the busses would work. We have another video about Morocco overall as a country which also includes some more travel tips if you want to watch that: ua-cam.com/video/VzV9i5AOBsA/v-deo.html
Thank you for your video 😊

did you like Chefchaouen ? how much time should a couple spend in chef?
Chefchaouen is awesome! We spent 3 days there but 2 is probably enough 😇
2 days it enough to explore the charm of this blue city.because it very small.
Hi thanks for the video. Did you went there in winter?
Thanks for watching!😁 yes, we were in Fez at the beginning of December
HOW many days enough for Fez?
1-2 days for the city is enough. Add a day for chefchaouen or go there for another 2 days

Im going for one day to fez, I sure hope nothing bad happens. Since I will be going alone.
Just be aware of scams and you'll be all good!
You never actually said why Fez isn't you're favorite city even though in your intro you said watch & find out why it isn't

Why were reasons you didn’t really like Fès , you didn’t really mention. I am curious what they are.
