Thank you so much for posting this! For me this was the original and best use of the sample (although Le Knight Club “Boogie Shell” is a close second). This is from august/September 1998, so beat a lot of people to the use of the sample. Of course it has been sampled to death now. I’ve literally been looking for this for about 20 years now and never thought I’d hear it again. This was played a few times on Vibe FM in East Anglia by John “Leechy” Leech at the time, on his radio show, and I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it and it literally stopped me in my tracks. I was 17 at the time and was blown away by the sample. However, I never heard it again after he played it 2/3 times. All I had of this track was a battered tape recording. I think Dantraxx was from the Essex area. Dantraxx made a few other good tracks, I wonder what happened to him?
