Well... I tried everything to get the pallets back to my farm (before I saw this video), couldn't figure out how to do it.... so then I just got my pickup truck and pushed the pallet all the way back to my farm. It's amazingly stupid but it works! 😂 fairly simple too!
i didnt learn anything new from someone who thinks only he is such a genius to had idea to transport pallets on a trailer..oh wait he calls it a trick i assume stripes to lock cargo are cheat wow
I use an auger wagon. I fill it and then drive out to various sowers to refill them. Open the sower cover, put the auger wagon pipe out, and put the pipe over the sower. It's quite handy actually.
As a side note, you can hover a pallet over an Auger Wagon, then to fill a Sower you can just park it next to the Auger wagon and it'll automatically fill the sower.
I find the flatbed works better for transporting pallets, just be careful not to steer too fast and everything will stay on perfectly, put a little yellow box car thing at the end, lower the drive things and push all the pallets off! simple as that
You forgot the auger wagons. The big one takes 43 m^3. So when you get rich enough you can have a auger wagon for seeds and one for fertilizer. Fill them up at the store with pallets (you can take one on each fork to lift double, not realistic but it works). Also not realistic is that they work without a tractor connected. So place it somewhere along the field, extend the pipe and lower it. Then run seeder close to it and remove the cover ('N') and it fills up. There is also a GIANTS mod where you can place a infinite buypoint for fertilizers and seeds. They cost a bit more (6.25% more for solid fertilizer, at normal if it depends)
this helped me a ton.. i think im going to just pull up to the store and load a bunch of seed into a tipper instead of hauling the pallets back to the farm
moose there is a money glitch in farm 17 on easy level. go to the shop in the town with your most expensive machine and sell it, and after its sold keep going back to the tractor dollar symbol hit L3 and then hit x button twice, you can do this as many times as you like even when you have already sold your machinery. do this constantly I had millions in minutes. it's the same on the 2nd map. I will never be poor farmer again lol.
On the seed. When planting with a worker he is able to keep the sower full by paying more. Is it cheaper to do it that way so you don't have to keep buying seed pallets, or is it cheaper to buy seed pallets and have to refill them on your own when the worker runs out of seed?
When using seed from your silo to fill the sower are you limited to only sow that type of plant or can you switch? I know when you buy seed you buy seed you can switch because you dont buy any specific type. But if you fill with say Wheat are you limited to sowing wheat or can you sow anything after you fill it with wheat from your silo?
I thought that's what you demonstrated with the seed in the loader bucket at the end where you showed you had to first open the seeder door and then dump the seed from the ground you picked up into the loader bucket
Hey Moose.. Do you know how to sort out the Lely Robot that cleans the feeding areas so that it don't keep filling up with the corn that the pigs knock out of their feeding tray? Or the Grass they or the cows keep knocking out as they eat of the feed trays there? I use three of these robots ( pigs, cows, sheep ) to keep clean the feeding areas in front of the animals feeding troughs, But one thing that I found is sometimes the robots fill up with corn from the pigs area and then don't release it? I have to keep stopping them and open up the attachment door and get a front lifter and pick the robot up and drive over to the grain drop silo pit and empty them and then take them bake to the feeders! Because if I don't do this the robot will get full with a grain or grass and not push the feed back into the trough? How do I get around this with the robots? Lastly I have lots of empty tree saplings wooden pallets, How do I get rid of them? The course play did a field for me of tress and took the saplings from the load of pallets of them as it planted But left the empty pallets there on the side! No where I looked takes these empty tree sapling pallets? Where do I take them.
When you said conveyor belts do not work with seed/fertilizer, did you test all steps along the way? 1) Pallet -> Tipper (Tipper -> ground doesn't need one) 2) Ground -> Tipper (for bringing it from storage to a field?) 3) Ground -> Bucket (because lazy?) 4) Ground -> Seeder (I assume you tested this one but hey why not) I'm also curious, do you know if the train can hold seed/solid fertilizer/ pig feed? (Unlikely given their silos don't list it, but it could potentially turn the train stations turn into seed stations.)
Belts have been updated in 1.3. Giants Changelog: "Fixed sowing machine and fertilizer spreaders to allow filling via conveyor belts (1.3)" So this would be the same for solid manure I presume.
moose please I need help, I have loaded my tipper full of fertiliser and I can't tip it, is there a special place you need to tip it, I am on ps4 don't know if this helps also I can't scoop it out with a bucket either

Counterweight to balance the tractor- tools weigh a lot and can take weight off the steering wheels which reduces your tractors handling. Also helps lower the center of gravity when using the front loader attachment.
Make sure to buy a tractor that says it can have a front loader attachment because only a few can. Then when you buy it make sure you select that you want to add the attachment because it doesn't automatically come with that ability. Then buy a front loader under tools and attach that to the tractor. Then buy a front loader tool (like the pallet fork) and attach that.

ihmesekoilua all you do is lift them up fill your vehicles with them and do stuff cool and stuff

actually, you can use belts to fill a seeder i have done it. you just need to open to top and drive under the belt

I suggest using the wrapped bale handler instead of a pallet fork. Much easier.

I'm not sure why you couldn't use belts. I have no problems loading from a pile on the ground to a machine via belts.

I was not aware you could use seed from your silo.

Nope, that was just seed from a pallet that I had dumped into a tipper.
