    The fact that Ezra’s new saber has Kanan’s emitter piece holds a great tribute to him. R.I.P Kanan

    Other than the music, the lightsaber design was the best part of Ashoka. They all rock.

    Great video, Jon! That might be my favorite of Ezra's lightsabers. I absolutely love that Huyang gave him a spare emitter he was holding onto for Kanan. Makes it just that much more special and meaningful!

    Great review. As always. I must say. I’m starting to get the hang of the proffie board and man, it just opens up a whole new world of customization. You should definitely do reviews on proffie!

      Nice! Yeah I’m just not a fan of Proffie. Easy and user friendly is more my thing mostly because they just sit on display after I review them. And when I use them it just turn on and turn off. I have no need to learn how to program nasa for that hahahahha but many like all the custom stuff so that amazing you are getting the hang of it! 👍🏻👍🏻

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost
      @TheCollectorsOutpost  8 місяців тому +1

      I think you’re talking about that little thumb screw. At the bottom of the chassis you may see threads, I’m told it screws in there to help get the chassis out. I never found a need for it tho.

    Is it possible to delete all the ones that already come with it and add just the Kyberphonic fonts onto the SD card or do you need to keep default fonts also?

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost
      @TheCollectorsOutpost  9 місяців тому +1

      I have a few sabers with just the one main font on it. You can pretty much do what ever you want. Add more, take some out.

  • @sabresswords
    @sabresswords 8 місяців тому

    So now that you don't add a new line of code for the new font, how can you adjust the individual settings for each font IE retract and extend speeds etc. Did they take that adjustment away? I hope not.

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost
      @TheCollectorsOutpost  8 місяців тому +1

      I have not found speed adjustments yet. They have changing something every couple months with updates and I’m hoping they are just adding that in to the app because it’s so stupid that it’s not there already.

  • @chappy9557
    @chappy9557 9 місяців тому

    So like, you dont have to add a config to ur font, but how does the board know the timings of the in and outs, the color etc?

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost
      @TheCollectorsOutpost  9 місяців тому

      the color you can just set in the app rather than in the code. Same with blade length and so on. I have not figured out the in & out blade timing yet as i'm not seeing code for that so my thoughts on it is that i'm sure they are working that detail in to the app as well. on page 2 there looks like a section called Pre on light mode time that is greyed out. maybe that will have something to do with the timing for one and off. but the speed is the one thing the app that has been missing from day one. And now there don't seem to be code for anything so thats why i think its gonna be worked in to the app soon. (I HOPE) besides that it looks like everything is just adjustable in the app now so everyone don't have to worry about messing up code.

    • @badvermin
      @badvermin 9 місяців тому

      There are multiple ways to change the colors and in/out speeds with a SN4.
      First is by editing the config file. Out of the box the the config will look like this: "Color-1=(0,0,255),2,0". The numbers in parenthesis is the color of the blade in RGB format, with a range of 0-255. To change the in/out speed, you need to add two numbers to the end of the line, for example: "Color-1=(0,0,255),2,0,400,800". The numbers are in milliseconds, so if you want the speed to take a whole second, you would enter the number as 1000.
      The second method uses the ForcePark App. You can change the color by selecting from the color wheel. To change the in/out speed you will need to edit In and Out setting in the Local section. Simply change the numbers of the timing in the Light Effect Frame and the Change Position selections. By adding a second set with a 60 millisecond delay you can create a spark tip ignition.
      To learn more about how to make cool effects with the ForcePark app, check out The Frugal Jedi.

    With the new way of adding a font will it automatically be set a certain way to match the respective character like for Erza will the font be automatically set to a blue blade color, pulse etc, or do you have to set all that in the app?

    • @TheCollectorsOutpost
      @TheCollectorsOutpost  9 місяців тому

      So right now (might change) but from messing around, I had added 10 other fonts and they all default to Blue standard blade. So instead of having to type in the code for the blade style and color you just set in the app. I haven’t figured out blade in and out timing yet tho. Maybe that will also be coming to the app the soon.

      @@TheCollectorsOutpost "I haven’t figured out blade in and out timing yet tho." I'm confused. 4 months ago in the Qui-Gon Jinn review you claimed to know how to change the SN4 in/out speeds with the app, and wrote giving out information on editing the speed via the config would confuse everyone. ForcePark iOS version 4.2 added the ability to change the in/out speeds with the app, it can even make multicolor spark tip ignitions.
