That low, growly bass-tone is a thing of beauty! :)
First time listen: I'm genuinely stunned at how good this album is.
*If you read this, this IS Metal Perfection. To me right there with Draconian. I am a Sabbath Fan to the DNA, but I haven't heard a bad song out of these guys, or Draconian and it's due to the female vocals that are soft, sweet, and beautifully melodic. *God made Everything? Right, that includes ALL "DOOM MUSIC" that tell us How much HE truly loves humans. That some are able to make perfection in METAL...*to me, the "Jesus" is a Metal Fan, and There is No Hell awaiting. Listen to Kerry KIng's New solo album if you want a branch of SLAYER as well.
Underrated band. MWWB were always good, but it's been really cool to see them expand more and more on their style and incorporate more unique influences into their mix of sounds.
I'm almost reminded of how Hangman's Chair from France have progressively mixed stoner/doom riffage with really clean, melodic vocals and gothic and coldwave sounding passages. I feel MWWB are doing something similar, though with a more spacey and ethereal synth approach.
Unbelievable band
Crushing sonic wall of sound
Heavy as phuckety phuck
I’m just speechless
Musically this is interesting, but the dense production kills it.
Moon Rise ♥
Edit. I am on my 14th listen...in12 days. Likely the best metal album of 2022. There's always something more to the music and I think this album is one whole song in chapters with such excellent Metal with hauntingly pure youthful female vocals. It's that galloping drum beat that hooked me before the Megadeth-like chugging Riff.
Such lovely tunes.
? Lovely tunes ? What the fuck does that mean? lol
@@gen-x-zeke8446 Hello Zeke. How are you? To answer your question. I was expressing my positive thoughts as in: "This music is really nice." I hope I have answered your question in full. And I wish you a nice day.
@@thefrisianviking28 I'm on my 8th listen through. Such great drums and grudge in the first song. I apoligize for being a butthead; that wasn't very nice. Please forgive me.
I fucking love this new album
They've stuck to the same framework to manifest melodies into awesome heavy metal with a goddess bird of a vocalist. Amazing.
GORGEOUS
It's like lacuna coil, grimes, soundgarden and electric wizard had a weird night and brought forth an ethereal hybrid stoner child.
Bad Jan
This singer and the heavy riffs...are exactly what the heavy metal fans needed. It hits in the beginning like a Crackhead Godzilla, stomping on all the sleepy heads. And then she's the soft sweetheart on the final song. Very Sci-Fi indeed! I love their music.
I haven't listened the entire album yet, but love that mysterious, spacey, athmospheric doom sound!
Great stuff mate
Listen
Yeeeaaahhh!!!!!❤❤❤❤🤘😎🤘
I find how the arpeggio in Betrayal gives the aural illusion of change when in reality, it doesn’t lol
amazing.
Perfection at 19:48, and beyond
Too cold.
gud shite
Someone has been reading Lem's works it seems.
Am I the only one who doesn't understand why Frayle gets all the attention, while MWWB do the same kind of music for years way better and no one talks about them.
This album is awesome like all stuff MWWB put out in the past!
MWWB rules!!!
@@Rob.DOOM.Hammer Yessir, I agree 🤙
Here to check this out because someone on my metal forum posted the album cover. My first brush with MWWB, it's OK, good even but nothing special. A bit too clean and tame sounding for my tastes. It's actually just making me want to go listen to Windhand. So I think I will. But don't mind me, you guys go right on ahead and rock out.
I think their debut album is their best, but my fav track is 'Testudo' , from their 2nd... (both can be found on my channel)
Stoner/Doom/Psychedelic/Space Rock/Heavy Psych/Horror Synth
Vegetarian Progessive Grindcore! lol
Obłok Magellana? Sounds Polish to me!
It's from a Polish science fiction novel by Stanislaw Lem
Interstellar wrecking ooozes John Carpenter
SOMA album art?
Best bandname in doom, simply because of the self awareness of how stupid bandnames in this genre are...
I've been a huge fan of these guys for years but this album isn't doing it for me :(
If it would be a bit more dark and rough then it'd say this band could have plenty more to show for.
It's just lacking that bit of oomph!
This band doesn't need you, they been in and famous on a scene for years that is rapidly growing stale around them...
prolly because it has female vocals.
@@rybacksmith2672 Not really, i think it's a great album don't get me wrong here.. I just feel it could be a bit rougher as it just feels a bit held back to me personally speaking.
