You need the mobility / utility of a speedster to pull off a squishy melee. By the way I think Aegislash bulk / durability just had to be buffed all around. Even in defensive stance its just doesnt do much. It would be a quite easy adjustment and at the same Aegislash would be more alike in the main game. Problem might be wide being too overpowered then I guess, but with just a little bit more of a healthpool and defense in defensive stance this pokemon can be balanced easily

I love Aegislash but with Mimikyu around, I really never even thought of playing it but I may try again. Also, I did a Penta KO Pikachu game which gave me a W in a recent match I played. Just a Thunder/Thunderbolt to everyone when they were trying to score at the 2:00 min mark and then they were getting destroyed like nothing and with Mew, I never played around and used my Unite Move to finish it off and even ripped Ray with everyone.
