Our journey began at the Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Road Hotel, where we had enjoyed a relaxing stay the night before. Driving in our trusty Kia Sonet, our family set out on a beautiful route that took us through some of South India’s most picturesque towns and cities, including Bangalore, Hosur, Krishnagiri, Salem, Dindigul, and finally, Madurai. The drive offered vibrant landscapes, lush greenery, and the charm of rural South India, making this Bangalore to Madurai road trip by car a delightful experience for all of us.
No road trip is complete without great food, and we discovered a hidden gem along the way! We stopped for lunch at a small, authentic South Indian dhaba, where we savored mouthwatering sambhar rice and tender chicken. The rustic flavors and warm hospitality made it a highlight of our journey.
As the day progressed, we continued our drive through smooth highways and reached the historic city of Madurai around 6 PM. We checked into the Courtyard by Marriott Madurai, where we enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing evening after a day of family adventure on the road.

Pink colour is banned food colour in India. Due high chemical composition , it’s declared unsafe. Mainly kids falling in for unsafe food like cotton candy.
