Always great to hear you are open minded and are intellectually honest, I also was in the Navy and I am the one that emailed you from NGC.

Heideggar wrote that modern technology "takes away" from us rather than being a means of revealing.

James, can you offer a discount for Patreon folks for your consulting services? That would be cool.

You make some really good points, however I do believe Neuralink will bring balance to the intellectual gap between man and machine. Also, would it be possible to cool the robotic systems with laser cooling or evaporative cooling instead of water? With time, and super intelligence, could it be a possible to create more efficient ways to cool robotic systems/hardware. Thanks for the great conversation James.

it's like "keep your friends close but your enemies closer" to the point that we have AI as part our biology. intrinsically linked and co dependant.

“But capital has one sole driving force, the drive to valorise itself, to create surplus-value, to make its constant part, the means of production, absorb the greatest possible amount of surplus labour. Capital is dead labour, which, vampire-like, lives only by sucking living labour, and lives the more, the more labour it sucks.”

Only an infrastructure guy can answer that question. I used to know a killer infrastructure engineer when I lived in the Valley but we lost touch

also this video reminds me of the movie iRobot. Everything in movies becomes true or is true. Just like the movie Men In Black. I could go on and on but yeah

We cant even agree on a definition for human consciousness, we're so far away from machine consciousness, its something I doubt we'll see in our lifetimes.
