Hi Liza, I would say, they are just the same. The reason why I did it with SK is because my credentials are already with WES when I applied for PR. BC has their own assessment body - which is the ICES. That means, I have to send my credentials to them. That would take longer for me to have my certificate.

Hi Heavenly, Your courses must match with the stated courses set by Canada. It depends on how many of your courses match theirs. If you meet all the courses, you will be in Level 3. If there are lacking, the least you will get is assistant, this means you have courses you needed to take to become a full ECE. Hope that answers your question.

Hi Ruwendraine, I think, I have answered this question of yours before. ECE license is needed even though you will be teaching in Montessori especially if it is a licensed daycare. Having a Montessori certificate is a plus though. In Ontario, I don't think they need a license for ECEA. That means, you can find an ECEA job in Ontario without the license. This you have to check with the employer.

Hi Roxanne, Any education outside Canada should go through assessment here in Canada. With regards to experience, that is a plus when you apply for job. However, what matters most first is to get your ECE license. Without it, you have no/slim chance to find a job in ECE.

Hi Kim, Congratulations on getting your certificate! You can try applying, and of course they will give you a work permit in case the employer will push through your application. They prioritize people who are here, however, we never know so just try applying for a job (as you already have the certificate).

Quebec is not part of the province under the Labour Mobility Agreement. You can ask the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators for more information regarding certification in Ontario province.

Since you are in the business field, you may want to check whether you are fit to apply as a skilled immigrant. As you have a master's degree, you will get higher points for that. You have to check that yourself. Again, as I mentioned, it depends which one works or is easier for you.

Hello Thanni, You may check the website of the universities/colleges from a province you are interested in. From there, see whether they have the program/course you like and whether they offer it online.

Nanny course is different from Early Childhood Education. If you want to be in the ECE field, you need to study ECE in Canada. If you want to be a nanny, then your nanny course from your home country might count.

Any education outside Canada should go through assessment here in Canada. With regards to experience, that is a plus when you apply for job. However, what matters most first is to get your ECE license. Without it, you have no/slim chance to find a job in ECE.

Congratulations on getting your certificate! You can try applying, and of course they will give you a work permit in case the employer will push through your application. They prioritize people who are here, however, we never know so just try applying for a job (as you already have the certificate).

It all depends on the ECE courses/subjects you have taken. They will assess it course by course or subject by subject. From there, they will identify which level of certification you will get.
I have an employer na po kasi. Sa british columbia ang nirerequire nya po is ECE Cert di po pwede yung Level 1 at ECE Assistant lang po yung equivalent
@@annventures18 Good that you already have an employer. But, having no license, you won't be able to practice. That is a must. ECE Assistant is okay but ECE Level 2 is better as you have more opportunities in terms of work. You are not limited.

Since you are in the business field, you may want to check whether you are fit to apply as a skilled immigrant. As you have a master's degree, you will get higher points for that. You have to check that yourself. Again, as I mentioned, it depends which one works or is easier for you.

If you still plan to take courses in ECE, then better for you to take it here. That way, you don't need to convert your courses in Canada.

You can take from either a public or private institution. As long as it is recognized by the government, there is no issue.

You may check the website of the universities/colleges from a province you are interested in. From there, see whether they have the program/course you like and whether they offer it online.

If your online certificate is from a recognized institution in Canada, then surely that is counted. If outside Canada, it will go through accreditation first.

Based on your question whether they issue ECE certificate internationally, yes (as they can email it to you) provided that you meet any of their conditions - either having SINP or the conditional job offer. You provide them the proof that you have.

There are three levels of certificate: Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. Depending on your courses, you may get Level 1. However, it is only definitive until your courses have been assessed.

I could not really tell as firstly, I do not know what are the courses you have in PGCE in Early Years. Secondly, I also need to see how many courses and what are the categories of those courses. What I am sure of is since your PGCE is related to Early Childhood Education, you may have some courses that can be counted.
