It is what it is, not very capable or accurate. However, the best reason to hate it is the 80 dB beeps for everything it does. It's like an obnoxious kid. Continuity and standard beeps are same volume. Fortunately the resistor beside the beeper is easy to change. Two screws are hiding behind the serial number label and the front acrylic is only held on by some clips around the edges. I changed mine from 10 to 120 ohms. I also got 2mm-4mm inline adapters so I can use any test leads I want.
There is no food or anything supposed to go to your mouth. Only things on the desk are from spilled acids, burnt places, resin from soldering, or epoxy glue leaving its traces after being cut off.
Of course your hand is live. Otherwise you'd be dead or undead. That happens when a not-so-smart smartphone designer tries to design a multimeter, LOL. And I love you channeling your inner Louis Rossmann and Dave Jones at the same time! Rants from electronics creators are the best.
