There are many, am quoting a few: shlokam 5 line 2: brantaadi vinivarakam - not 'bhutadi vnivarakam' shlokam 9 line 4: patu karnakam not 'mastakam' Shlokam 12: line 2: is wrong. It should be: namah paatu hrudam mama actual meaning - protect my heart not the 'private' parts. - gudam means 'a**hole' line 3: correct one: kleem paayat paarshva yugmam cha audio is correct but text is wrong. Please check and correct. The readers, listeners will learn the wrong one and will have wrong effects. I appreciate the efforts of the uploader of this video. This kavacham is very powerful one and i refrain myself from pointing the couple of mistakes in text translation. There are many, am quoting a few:
shlokam 5 line 2:
brantaadi vinivarakam - not 'bhutadi vnivarakam'
shlokam 9 line 4: patu karnakam not 'mastakam'
Shlokam 12: line 2: is wrong. It should be:
namah paatu hrudam mama
actual meaning - protect my heart
not the 'private' parts.
- gudam means 'a**hole'
line 3:
correct one: kleem paayat paarshva yugmam cha
audio is correct but text is wrong. Please check and correct.
The readers, listeners will learn the wrong one and will have wrong effects.
Am not criticizing. in fact this good effort to make people learn in easy way. hope you will check and correct this.

This is the Sri Narasimha Kavacham told to Sage Narada by Lord Brahma. There is another version told by Prahalada in the Brahma Purana. Can some expert tell us which is the real one? Or are both equally valid?

is it not dangerous chant this prayer without the proper sanskrit pronounce? specially for lord narasimha who is a very angry deity?
