This video may not be realistic, Vesta does not have enough mass to completely shatter the Moon and it will leave a crater the size of Mexico instead. Meanwhile, Ceres also does not have enough mass to completely shatter the Earth and it will leave a crater the size of Canada instead, the impact from Ceres will also make all life on Earth (including our human species) to go extinct regardless of how prepared we are. Also, launching nuclear missiles to an incoming asteroid will actually make the apocalypse even worse, the best way to prevent any asteroid from hitting the Earth is to change the asteroid’s orbit, but our technology is only advanced enough to move small asteroids.
