Great video! Love all the detailed information. Knowing about the winds is very helpful and useful information. Especially for areas that are not in the direct path but will be affected by the winds. Thank you for sharing.

This could severely damage Maine and New Brunswick's potato and apple crops. The annual harvestime was suppose to start this weekend ...bad timing.

Really great video. Thanks for sharing your insights.
You talk mostly about windspeeds (which makes sense as those are typically pose the greatest threat when it comes hurricanes and tropical storms), however it may be worth discussing the rainfall/precipitation potential in more detail.
In 2011, the remnants of Hurricane Irene caused catastrophic flooding in Vermont. The soils are currently saturated, so there is a good chance of flooding should the storm push too far to the west. Central Massachusetts currently has very bad flooding conditions that would likely become extreme should that western push occur. I'm curious to see how the various ensembles are predicting rainfall. Anyways, thanks for sharing.

Models are indicating only 1-2 inches of rain across eastern MA as Lee passes. Heaviest rain will fall west of the track into eastern Maine (2-5 inches).

Massachusetts and New England have been dealing with some heavy rains the last couple of days, Lee might end up making those problems worse. (Speculation)

I have 2.5K followers. My other Lee tweet had 358 views in one hour, 1 repost.

Finally, some of us up here get some weather excitement. Yeah, I get it, it can be bad, but some of us live for it but also understand the cons of it. Bare in mind that we are in awe of the storm, not the destruction. Not what some will go through, but the power of nature. I hope all is well for everyone in its path. Storm chasers understand what I am trying to say. Be safe.

You have to smile at the scramble to get a 1700 ton wind generator barge out of the New Bedford Harbour yesterday. Sounds like their hurricane-protection gates aren't entirely supported!

All I can say is their terrain and construction are not meant for tropical hurricanes. Prayers for all. I'm sure the damages will be out of pocket, because these states don't carry hurricane protection or flooding.
Unfortunately, we have seen a lack of government assistance for such disasters. Prayers for all.
Lee is not going to boost Bidens poll.....

This morning noaa said tropical storm force winds extended out 240 miles and hurricane force winds 115 miles out. So if the core collapses there could be 40-70 mph winds. They said the storm would come by Long Island Friday night at 8 pm. I am wondering if it would be safe to drive home after work on Friday. I remember the morning of Sandy [ storm hit 8-830 pm] a wind gust pulled my cover one entire lane that was 10 am. It was not safe to be out there driving but I still had things to do. Nobody is telling us if it safe to be out there on Friday.
