Cancer Fecking sucks a$$ and Chemotherapy is just about the hardest treatment to go through, chemo is basically poison and the line between getting enough chemo but not giving to much and you don’t survive, that line is TINY. The palace has made no announcements, and nobody is shocked or bewildered. It has been common knowledge that the Duchess of Gloucester, who has been the President of the Lawn Tennis Association for 25 years, would be at Wimbledon - it has been posted in the Royal Diary on the official Royal Family website for the last 2 weeks.
Nobody would be expecting the Prince of Wales to attend Wimbledon.
It's not an "official" Royal duty to present the trophy,just something the process has done as patron of the association.

It can be dangerous for a cancer patient to come into contact with a lot of people because she may fall ill as a result of a compromised immune system.
It’s always Catherine in tears or William in tears or Charles in tears. As a headline it’s ridiculous. As for not going to Wimbledon, The Princess of Wales is still receiving preventative treatment for cancer. For heavens sake leave her alone. She will appear when her medical team has given the all clear and when she’s feeling ok. If we are happy to wait, then lay off and leave her alone.

Wishing Princess Catherine a full recovery,but I am curious,to mea great fill in might be Duchess Sophie ( the King’s sister in law),the public seems to like her.If they asked Beatrice or Eugenie, might be willing to fill in for special events especially to ease the burden of Princess Catherine as it is said the cousins have always been close, maybe their not ideal but sometimes you have to take help from unexpected places.

It’s time the Public in England is educated on post Cancer treatment and Cancer treatment in General. The Princess is going thru Chemo. Chemo destroys or significantly reduces the immune system making you much more susceptible to other illness which can weaken you . Attending a crowded venue of any sort while undergoing chemo treatments is NOT recommended by any Oncologist or Radiologist. The Princess’s appearance at the Trooping the Colors was okayed because she wasn’t meeting a crowd of people! Even large family gatherings are not recommended without masks. Chemo treatments are something I , like many Cancer Patients , am very knowledgeable about. I’ve been fighting 3 types of Cancer since 2018 and the dos and do nots of what I can or cannot do, even when feeling okay, could fill volumes. Also, post operative Chemo takes months! And, depending upon what type of Chemo she is receiving, is bodily exhausting. The decision to appear for the Trooping was good because if she was like me, the most tiring part of the event for her was getting ready for it. She road in the carriage and stood on the balcony. Attending a major event like Wimbledon, with hours of sitting in the Royal Box, giving out prizes etc ? Not a good idea! So let’s just let her do what she can, with her doctors permission, and leave her alone!
Chemo is draining. For Heaven’s sake, there's Fergie's daughters who can step in....
While going thru chemo her immune system is weakened. Being around other people could put her at risk. Riding in a glass carriage kept her away from germs in the air. She needs to take care of herself.
