They all hate the flea and tick stuff - my last cat used to glare at me after I'd put it on. The black cat my parents had would immediately bolt for the back door the moment he felt even a drop of that stuff land on him!

My last cat Abby didn't like flea meds either, although after a while she kinda got used to it, so it wasn't such a big deal anymore. She was mainly an outdoor cat, so it was extra important she got the monthly drops. I used only prescription drops her vet prescribed, as those are both safer and more effective, and they do more than the over the counter drops. Abby rarely had more than a few fleas on her, even being outdoors here in central FL.
