I’m getting my sports pilot license in this aircraft. I’m flying out of Ernest Love field, Prescott Arizona. I absolutely love this airplane. And what an amazing view with great visibility. Flying in the mountains is such a blast. Great video, thanks.
You will love it. In the mountains its great, fantastic visibility, able to land on any strip and outstanding climb. I've been flying almost 20 years inc tailwheel and aeros but I really enjoy simple look out the window flying. Welcome to the skies.
A great aircraft and so underrated. Amazing STOL and can handle off airport really well. We have had them here in the UK for over 20 years, the build quality is great and maintance is easy. Most of my flying is farm fields where slow speed control is vital as is helicopter like visibility, with full sideslip you see absolutely everything.
My old man has passed but I can hear him griping right now about the lack of prop respect. I was always taught to treat the area as if it could start at any time.
My 22LS has got 1100 hrs on now. Bought it new. I love the plane. So predictable, so safe. If you keep it in a stall it's rate of descent is lower than with a ballistic shute.
Hi Hans , Its great to hear your experience with 22LS, we are planning to start a flight school and wish to get some advise on A22LS . Can you please share your email, I can be contacted on mail@slingergroup.in God bless-Regards ,Reji
Another excellent and informative video Dan...What a fantastic spokesman Sid is for LSA, Aeroprakt and Rotax. Cottonwood and surrounds is an awesome place to fly too!

Yeah it does have a stol look as well as LSA. We have several of those here in Denmark.
My Storch (Fly Synthesis made in Italy) consumption is about 3.2 to 3.4 gallons per hour.Carburettor fed, Rotax 912, 80 hp.
The 912 rotax with 80 hp is the best engine .i fly the Avid Flyer mk4,best combination..
