Mock parajumbles are usually difficult. Even I had low accuracy but got all correct in the cat paper. Try to solve the previous year cat parajumbles. That should give you confidence

And sometimes negative. Also not well versed with quants. I'm getting extremely under confident. That is it still possible to make this year's cat? I'm ready to put all my efforts, pls guide me what to do? There are playlist of aptitude jab, quantifiers for lrdi(300-200 sets) can I complete those with practice??
I don't think that will require a dedicated video.... will see if it is required. But try to note down all important formula...whichever problem you cannot solve in forst attempt should also be noted down somewhere. Then just revise those notes. Revision should not take more than 30-45 mins.

Hi Anant. This video was really helpful, however, I have a doubt. I have taken T.I.M.E. and iQuant's test series. I find iQuanta's test series to be at par with CAT but I feel TIME mock tests are quite tough. I have been unable to score well in TIME in any of the sections. So should I use the TIME mock series as practice & iQunata's for keeping track of my score or it should be the other way around?
You should try to calculate percentile from tests which have more takers...so usually I recommend CL IMS and Time for benchmarking but it's fine. You can use the mocks as you like
TIME's Mock series is fairly difficult as compared to the Actual CAT pattern, I'd say use TIME mocks as practice and don't get disheartened with the performance

Always solve it with normal trick...vedic maths needs time to develop and you should never do it if it does not come naturally to you. If you have to memorize it then it's a waste.. only recommended for people who have more than a year to prepare for CAT

Try to solve the problems after mocks. If you are able to then you need more exam practice. Appear for more sectionals and mocks. In case you are not able to solve problems even after the mocks, solve exercise problems from books without the timer

Analyze the mocks well and try to understand the reason. Score fluctuation is normal but if it's mostly towards the lower end then you need to anlyze well... I have another video on cat mock analysis...you can watch that

Hey Ananta, I am a TIME student, and have been giving AIMCATS, I do end up getting a decent percentile, but my concern is, since the AIMCATS are tougher than actual CAT, a lower score can fetch you a good percentile. I am worried that this might impact my scoring ability in CAT, can you suggest any solution for this, I was planning to buy another mock series, since you said we can go with studybuzz mocks (if we have TIME/CL/IMS mocks), I was just wondering if studybuzz mocks will be as helpful or should I go for CL mocks?(Budget is a concern for me, but I don't want to compromise for CAT)
You won't face such problems in cat, why would you score less if the you're finding the question easy, although endurance may come into place if paper comes extremely easy, because then the game will be shifted to no. Of attempts, but this is very unlikely to happen seeing the past trends

Nothing much.. these things happen when you just start with mocks. Theory and attempting the mocks are two very different skills. You will improve as you attempt more. Just don't keep the target very high from 1st mock. Candidates usually keep high targets, then get nervous when they are not able to solve many and keep switching between questions without actually solving any. Just target that you will attempt 8-10 questions in quant and accordingly attempt. You will see improvement in your attempts. Then gradually increase this target
Havw you tried the strategy I mentioned in the video? Try to move quickly through the questions without overthinking...Try to increase attempts and see if it works for you. High chances your accuracy will not decrease
I also want to come to IIM A. But please tell me how much do i need to score in cat? In graduation? I am a obc + engineer. My 10th score was 88% and 12th 72.6%.i met with a fracture.

Happens with everyone. You are done with theory but need more exam practice and solving problems when a timer is running. Increase the number of mocks and keep analyzing every mock

Mocks sectionals and proper analysis is the only way! Watch my mock analysis video and understand how to analyze quant section. That can help!

Too early to decide but if you consistently get 95+ percentile in mocks it shouls be 99 in CAT
