My father introduced me to this great comedian when I was about ten. The dana Carey show. If only there was internet back then... That show would be so famous. What a great, light-hearted, silly man. Absolutely love him. My father has passed now but he gave me his passion for comedy and it started with this man. 💙💙💙
Thanks for posting this. Reminds me of when Carvey co-hosted Regis and Kathie Lee. He's really good with the ad-libbing. One of the morning shows should hire him to appear every Friday.
I remember the day this aired I was late for work because it was so damn funny, the anchors had a hard time keeping their composure, possibly the funniest thing I ever saw on live TV!
Carvey was pronouncing it, "electorial" college..so unless that was a deliberate affectation, he didn't come off as all that knowledgeable or insightful and appeared to (though, again, he may have merely been purposely aping the dumb, ignorant views of the general public) support doing away with this smart move by the Founders to better ensure legitimacy in elections.
