Thanks for another well done video. Limited entrance and exit points like highway 2000 east west leg. In my opinion, the entrance and exit points were strategically constructed to maintain some traffic flow on the old A2 road. To Prevent economic death of the communities of Clarendon Park where Juici Patties is located, Scotts Pass where the fruit vendors are located, Porus bound traffic will be encouraged to exit at toll gate and get back onto the old A2 road to get to Porus. If they choose to not exit at toll gate, their next exit to those communities will be the Williamsfield roundabout, then drive down Melrose bypass to Porus etc. I believe the death of Faith's Pen, Ewarton and other communities located in that area, caused by highway 2000 north south leg, was taken into consideration with the design of this highway
DV, i think you enjoy making videos as much as we enjoy watching them. Quality work. I notice landscaping is taking place along the route. So pleased to see that. i hope they include ornamental trees such as Poinciana and other like trees.
Another great video ......u always bring us top teir, on point videos......correction tho....the new road coming from Toll Gate ate towards porus, that section is due northwest, but whenever u merge with the A2 towards Williamsfield, ur now heading west. We can also see that the Melrose section of the highway will be a T1/A2 concurrency to Williamsfield.
Wow that so nicely done but i think they should have made a eastbound ramp from the melrose bypass road to accomodate futire possible developments in that immediate area of porus since it will be so easy to get to kingston from there.
Wow wow I tell you my friend this is a exellent shot you really doing a great job im not sure if I can understand that road when I visit I also watch your adds on my phone, tv and tablet lol for truth viewing from cayman island always my friend really really appreciated sir
DV JA you are the real boss at Flying Drone. Very informative. Will definitely finish for August and I heard they are not going to as far as the Williams field roundabout
A bit of concern. The bi-direction Melrose bypass roadway leading from Melrose Hill/Porus intersection into the under path of the new H'way should be widen and Jersey barrier installed along this section of roadway to prevent Mandeville bound traffic from mistakenly entering the southbound ramp (Incoming traffic).
I suppose that the engineers are '" LUNATICS " and could not calculate the STANDARDS for road width clearance. WELL MR SMART ASS , there are INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR ROAD WIDTH CLEARANCE. ALL AUTOMAKERS AND CIVIL ENGINEERS KNOW THE STANDARDS.
Yes king drone. Firstly I must thank you for giving us here in the Diaspora a viewing of the Road development of country. Please keep yourself on your equipment safe Nuff respect 100%.
I keep watching this video over and over and the more I keep scratching my head what was the purpose of splitting the highway when one bridge could have accomplished the entrance ramp? splitting the highway at the current design create more problem (1) the west fast lane from May pen now have slow traffic joining to Williamsfield, and those traffic will have to switch over to exit especially when the highway continue from Williamsfield. (2)the exit ramp to Pourus is too sudden and steep. exiting slow heavy vehicle will cause a bottle neck incorporating a existing roadway with a toll road especially on a hill should mandatorily call for 6 lane not 4 pourus was bypass so why weren't they consider in the plan for an exit and entrance from May Pen at the bypass or at Redberry? why isn't the MP for Pourus not razing hell as the town has been totally neglected?
It seems obvious to me that the underpass is where you would drive to enter the highway coming from Porus however I don't see where you could go to Kingston
This a make south Clarendon a prime spot, you go east you will be in Kingston in under an hour, you go north you will be in Ochie in under 2 hours, you go west you be in Manchester in about an hour. I love it….. now that the government give. Themselves big money, clean up the crime…
It’s coming together beautifully brother, Jamaica 🇯🇲 land we love 💕

Wow I can’t wait to drive around the island on a highway, that would be the greatest day of my life
You know this feeling driving on a highway for 8 to 10 hours just put gas and go
Me too I've never drove in Jamaica 🇯🇲 before

I really do like making these videos, but knowing that you guys enjoy them, means the world to me.
great footage, love how dem split the highway to allow entrance/exit to Porus.
Looking good on each progress report … give thanks 🙏 DVJA keep the great works going !!
Much appreciated

Excellent!!
Thanks for the detailed update
No problem 👍
Wow another awesome blog
Very good!!!

I realize that too.
🍿👀📽 🎶📻🎶❤💃🔊🎶 snaps fingers
I hope there's expanded highway maintenance department in place to keep this highway pristine
I agree 👍 because lve seen videos of the North South highway and it seem like parts of it required upkeep due to overgrowth.
It gonna have a toll so there will be up keep for it
NROCC
I've seen maintenance updates on the May Pen to Kingston leg from time to time. It will probably happen here too
True 👍🏾 ✔️
The road looks great. In addition, it seems as if CHEC is working overtime to ensure the highway is completed by August.
Great video once again, DVJa.
Hope so

I see some speed limit and direction signs
What’s the clearance on that underpass .. will tractor trailers and big trucks be able to navigate that route?
It's high n wide enough for them
I suppose that the engineers are '" LUNATICS " and could not calculate the STANDARDS for road width clearance.
WELL MR SMART ASS , there are INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS FOR ROAD WIDTH CLEARANCE. ALL AUTOMAKERS AND CIVIL ENGINEERS KNOW THE STANDARDS.
Ref to maintenance, I am wondering when they turned over these high ways in 50 years will it be in good condition.
Yes, I know the first section from Portmore to May Pen is well maintained.
Yes king drone.
Firstly I must thank you for giving us here in the Diaspora a viewing of the Road development of country.
Please keep yourself on your equipment safe
Nuff respect 100%.
Dem ah gwaan good, next generation all set if [Hurricane Gayle force] find it acceptable.
There is still a lot of work left to go, I don't think that they'll make the deadline in August.
Will the red mud soil be covered up.
They normally plant grass seeds to hold the soil.
Will there be a by pass once the high way is complete?
Where exactly are you talking about
@@droneviewja from porus to Williams field.

You are not alone in your observations. I agree it would be a lot easier to have 4 lanes accross the bypass
It seems obvious to me that the underpass is where you would drive to enter the highway coming from Porus however I don't see where you could go to Kingston
Lovely viewing, but your are flying too high, maybe you go down a lower
Nah, that already cost me a drone and these flights are low enough, don't you see me climbing over light wires.
