How this anime went for me (note i didnt saw anyone of the rest), Sniper Stuff. flashback, more sniper stuff, five girls that has no relation trying to search for her "father", Thanatos, Asako,,JB, a Pink Barret M82, a somehow epic rescue, a badass (while totally innacurate fight between a Cobra and a Apache. badass going in alone against enemy fortress, MGS4 reference fight, meet Oslo, yet another reference kill (Kiss of the dragon this time) big ass explosion and happy ending
Vie I swear, I hate when the so called protagonist of shonen anime somehow gets the main villain who probably killed his family to be friends. Like wtf
This fistfight is very realistic like how Yuuji headbutt he was using the upper part of the head and the clone rushing was a very good boxing form he is constantly moving his head to make it hard to target and the double kick was perfect,the first one was to hit the weak spot which is the forearm muscle if you do muay thai you'll know that a precise kick to the forearm can disable the arm for a moment which is enough for a follow up.
We all respect Yuuji because he really is what he supposed to be, natural savage, natural charm, no hesitation to fuck, worth hundreds of harem SF and strong enough to be made clone of himself. The best and possibly perfect Male protagonist.
On a unrelated note I recommend you watch visual novel play through the anime cut down 120hrs to 9hrs also the characterization is different take yuuji for example in he’s borderline psychotic jokes more is more sadistic and more hesitant to kill compared to anime self because when he does he loses himself to madness and stop killing even innocence if their unfortunate enough to be in his way
As awesome as the reverse pistol shot is, I'd imagine it's a pretty impractical move to use for real. In real life, the way he effortlessly disarms him wouldn't have happened as it did in the anime because of his grip on the gun. There's a good video on MGS5 CQC where a demonstration of one of Boss's disarming moves shows him grabbing an attacker's wrist who is holding a knife, swinging the arm down and around, and the knife suddenly flies out of the attacker's hand, but then this same move is repeated in real life and it's shown to be highly unlikely for such an act to occur due to the grip. Fun fact too: In the scene before Yuuji grabs the pistol, Yuuji is holding the knife in his right hand (the hand he used to disarm the Clone,) and then, in the next scene, it's in his left hand. Little continuity error I recognized when I was studying that scene.
The hand that pushed Yuuji was his Master Hand that died years ago, and that was her spirit. Pretty sad that she died, me at 16 years old i cried at her death, i really liked her and her badass personality. R.I.P

Yes the anime didn't adapt everything.yes the anime couldn't adapt everything because of the budget and yes they had to cramp a lot of stuff from the VN in at one point but man this show is so freakin unique. I can't even hate it.
I think the problem was mainly due to Kajitsu being too good as VN. And adaptation of Yumiko's story made people hate the anime iirc. Otherwise it was a well done adaptation.
