The First Lexion model: 1996 Claas Lexion 480 combine | 30ft/9m C900 header | Modern Classic

The first Lexion model: The Claas Lexion 480 and its descendants have made a huge impact on harvesting in Britain, and is arguably already a modern classic.
The original Lexion and first to be launched, this flagship model boasted 375hp (later 400hp) and headers widths up to 30ft/9m. This early (1996) green chassis example equipped with a C900 30ft/9m header was cutting spring barley in 2009 when it was filmed for the Combine Harvesters Part 2 DVD.
