Even after the blasphemous dismissal of henry as superman he still holds that character close to his heart ,dude is a gentleman
Will always be my Superman ❤️
THE BEST....not even close
Just make him 007 already. Will be the best Bond ever IMO. Amazing actor.
They wont. Too old now :/
@@charliewalker9443 that thought process is only rumor. He’s only 2 years older than when Daniel Craig started playing the character.
@@TViper2369 Yeh they are not looking to repeat. They will annoy everyone, look to subvert and hire someone no one is expecting. It’s all opinions and guess work until it gets announced.
Picks his NFL team according to the lore of a comic book character he plays in a movie: One of us.
He is and will always be my superman. What a fantastic actor and allround great guy
When I heard Henry mention he's filming the 'Highlander' reboot, I was ecstatic, as it was one of my favorite 80s flicks and still a totally unguilty pleasure to this day.
directed by the guy who does the John Wick movies. Very exciting
@@CoolHandLuke7even more reason to get hyped.
Yes indeed!!! I cannot wait!!!
❤️💯
I'd heard rumors, this video was the confirmation for me. Getting hyped for this. Highlander was the whole reason I ever wanted to visit the Highlands. It was as awesome as I expected. And I may have geeked out a bit at Dunvegan castle, which is still owned and managed by Clan MacLeod
Lets get Henry as Bond. Lets go!
I think we all know that henry would make the perfect bond😎🙌🏻
At some point I wonder if they actually argued that he was too of an obvious choice. Like they wanted to feel more important picking a new actor. Like they found a not obvious great choice. When most of us knew, hello!? He is Henry.
Casting him and bringing Bond back to the 1960s era was an unforgivably missed opportunity.
Hands down my favorite Superman and as a Kansan, I can tell you he did a great job representing Superman's home state!
As much as I dislike Kansas City i can respect his logic of picking a team to root for.
The one thing he will always be connected to, Superman. He still feels connected to that character after all WB did to him. He has an Akita dog and his name is Kal
Henry is a newly announced father to be (congrats!), his child will one day go to school and say, "My Dad is Superman." Awesome.
is this for real or just a rumor?
For real
He will always be Superman
Hollywood doesn't desreve Henry Cavill
they know that and that's why they won't let him be Bond!
Cavill is a great actor and a class act. Still disappointed he will no longer be portraying Superman. The day I heard that announcement is the day I disliked James Gunn. However, thrilled he got the nod for “Highlander.”🍿
Just once in my life, I'd like to be called a "marvelous chap."
I've always considered you to be a marvelous chap.
Right?!
Congratulations on Henry being a new father.
What a guy. Henry is the best. Even (he) just for being what he is and say nothing bad about what happened, his kind behavior is a big FU to dc James Gunn and everyone at WB. Such a gentleman and good actor. Will always be my Superman. Can't wait to watch the movie!
I'm excited to see all of henry future projects
Its a shame the SUPERMAN of our Generation is no longer SUPERMAN 😢😢😢 SCREW YOU WARNER BROS!!!!
He wouldn't fly to the new epstein island with them
@NoFace-ke9pc FACTSSSS!!! That's why "they" put out there "he's difficult to work with"
Hahaha blame Snyder for being a bad director
@gorgejung307 MAN OF STEEL is a great great superhero film...it's what happened after, that is puzzling
@@ActionFigureWorld hahaha not great. Ok but not even close to great.
Henry cavill for next bond.
Henry needs period pieces.
I hope he does highlander justice
Guy Ritchie is a genius. If you haven't seen all of his films, check them out. Each one of them is a fun ride.
We need rocknrolla sequel stat!!
@@davidmarshall44OG Guy Fans have been wanting this since it released! It hurts knowing it probably won’t happen 😭
@ulybynature__17 they should have done a netflix show. They just did the gentleman, which was fine but I would have loved for them to do a rock n Rolla show.
They are not good at all.
I really hope he is our new James Bond
Henry Cavill would be a PERFECT James Bond. P-E-R-F-E-C-T
He seems such a nice man....
Man of Steel.
He seems like the nicest guy.
Congrats on the new baby, Henry!
Beautiful man, fun movie, future Bond (I hope). Thanks, Rich!
I ❤ The Man From U.N.C.L.E! Ritchie + Cavill = 🔥🔥🔥
Could listen to him talk about just about anything
That movie was very underrated.
@@Nabneet1507very!
Henry Cavill could certainly be the next James Bond
Henry Cavill is the definitive answer to the Parks and Recs codename: "If I had to pick a dude"
Leave it to Henry Cavill to come up with my now favorite moniker for football - Human Chess. Makes so much sense when you think about it.
Beautiful 😍 could listen to him forever, great interview
He’s 40. He’s got 3 films in him for Bond. They better cast him now he gets out at 52. Pierce was 38 when goldeneye was shot. So he’s already 2 years behind.
I wish, sounds like they may be going with someone else. Aaron Taylor Johnson? I still think Henry would be awesome. He obviously can do action, he can play a serious badass but also has some comic chops as well.
It takes like 6 years to make a bond movie 😂 like no bs.
@@rorymclaughlin1609 Please...only if the producers are incompetent.
I was the only one at my superbowl party cheering for the Chiefs as i am a Kelce fan. Felt pretty good at the end when i could shout " in your face" to all my guests. Good times
Henry❤❤❤😊
Fabulous movie!
I so love his consistency, he said the exact same thing on how he became a chiefs fan as he did the last time he was on this show
Henry is such a glass act and was done dirty by DC Entertainment! No worries though; I am so looking forward to his iteration of "The Highlander"!!! Henry brandishing a big sword, wearing a Scottish kilt and lopping off heads -- yes please!!!
⚔️😳😍😂💛💙❤️💋💯
Will always be my Geralt.
I played him at rugby when he was at Stowe. I think he was the number 8. Looked very different back then. Longer floppy hair and much much smaller. Seemed quite intelligent.
his nick-name was 'fat Cavill'
@@bummblebee77 The guy i'm remembering was 14 stone at most. Either he ballooned after school or i'm remembering someone else.
@@BadgerUKvideo russel crowe said that he definetly had not been fat at 16
@@natasamladenovic1765 Would have been at about that age. Somewhere between 15 and 17.
Only reason I remember him was because he looked like one of my mates and was dangerously aware of the state of play. As a blind side flanker it's your job to manage the smartest and/ or biggest opponents.
Although not massive he was definitely someone that needed to be curtailed.
They won the game. Was close ish but they were just better than us.
@@BadgerUKvideo Sorry Badger, I'm American. I never could figure out stone as a weight.
I imagine that he smells amazing and his breath feels like velvet.
This man is gorgeous. I hear he’s a father-to-be, but we all know he’s always been a daddy. BTW, the film is fun.
The book the movie is based off of is super interesting if you're into History at all.
My dream forever ❤
I'm reminded of Christopher Lee's real life experiences in WW2 given the idea behind this movie.
The one and only superman , great dude , glad he's working in a lot films ,james gunn and WB will regret it , there shall only be one
Yay for rooting the Chiefs!
Can’t wait to see this movie
Saw it, loved it😊
Thank you👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Aw i will always love him lol❤
That was so good 🙌🙌🙌🙌
I like Henry Cavill a lot, and Guy Ritchie, and I enjoyed the movie and loved the book it's based on. But please, don't anyone come away from this thinking the events depicted had anything at all to do with the US entering the war.
Wish Rich had asked more about rugby ❤
Shame his new movie doesnt go to cinema in UK. Straight to streaming sometime later in the year. Only safe bets at uk cinemaz😢
Wait what? I cant find it neither. I was wondering...it is in germany, taiwan, hong kong etc....what about the rest of Europe??????
The book is fantastic!
Mr Cavil if can hear me please continue to play Superman you killed it
He wants to. You have to tell Warner Brothers to let him.
*T H E M A N O F T O M O R R O W*
Iam Fleming was also portrayed in the film Operation Mincemeat. Being part of British Intelligence, he was portrayed as the guy who came up with the idea of the mission. I think it was a reboot or close remake of the film The Man Who Never Was.
Kind of sad to hear "The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare" is not doing so great at the box office.
Grata y hermoso entrevista!! Adorable este tesoro! Su carisma es innata! Su película se ve excelente y Magistral! Congratulation bebé! Te amo!👏🌸🥶💘💙❤️🇬🇧🇻🇪🧕🌸❣️🙏
We can say much the same of Argylle: great fun that seemed to last maybe ten minutes. Terrific entertainment!
Guapo te amo estas bello muy guapo love you eres mi love henry 🥰😍😍💚💚😘💚💙💚💚💚
Noticed no mention of the stunt work from a certain show. 🤔😂
I had no intention of seeing his new movie, but now it's certain. I wish movie folks would do a better job in promoting films. Sick of comic book movies...
Is he still in Kensington anyone know
Henry Cavill's indifference to the English Premier League is quite common amongst people from an upper class background in Britain.
Then how do you explain future king, Price William, and his beloved Aston Villa whom he's supported for almost 20 years and has just taken Prince George and one of his school friends to watch a match. I guess it helps that PW is and has been the President of the FA Cup.
"Quite common" meaning usual but not without exception
He wore a Royals cap briefly in "Man of Steel," so his reasoning checks out.
And a tshirt
When Man of Steel 2 coming out? Its been 13 years!
King of the Nerds!
I'd rather see him do a Man from Uncle sequel than Bond.
💋
I lomg had thought that it was based off his cousin Christopher Lee and their time spent in the war together. I guess i was 30% correct
حبيبي ❤✌
Not ONE question about warhammer?
Come on, dude. This is Rich Eisen, not Stephen Colbert.
It's too niche.
So by Cavill’s logic, Clark Kent is from Kansas therefore a Chiefs fan so Dorothy Gale is a Chiefs fan too 😂
I can't be mad at him, even if he is a Chiefs fan. Besides, we got Captain America.
Vinnie Jones used to live near my mum as a teen and had a bit of a rep for being a bad kid.. You'd never think so, to look at him, would you!?
No question on what happened with Witcher series that made him leave?
I’ve seen that Netflix wanted to change the story and Henry wanted to stay true to the existing story. Netflix said no so he left cuz they didn’t do right by the original writers.
I thought Christopher Lee was the inspiration for Bond?
I don't think so, but he was a member of SOE. So that may be where the idea comes from.
@@silverbaker2194 I'm pretty sure he was the author's cousin
It’s a Guy film 🤷🏻♂️ what do you expect? 🤙🏼
Boycott James Gunn's Superman. That is all.
I remember a time when you'd watch "The Tudors," then you'd catch some NFL Total Access. I must say, NFL Network mostly sucks now because they mostly have a bunch of C teamers doing everything. Literally bootleg sports media now 😂🤷🏻♂️
@Henry Cavill • plsz reply back asap ❤❤❤u
I just want to sit around and play games while having a laugh with Henry. Seems like a great guy. Also...I'd rather he was Batman and not Superman.
Why does Henry look so small lol
Now I know why I don't like Henry Cavill. He's a Chiefs fan.
guys the guest is completly green, please say something to your Dop.
Missouri Chiefs fans who think they're the only ones allowed to be fans are the worst Chiefs fans.
Thank Greenlaw's injury for the Chiefs win....he was destroying
Bro I'm dying to read the Superman movie that Henry and Mission Impossible director Chris Mcquarrie pitched to WB, who sadly turned them both down. Such a shame.
However, insiders say he may have been asking for way too much money and major creative control, that an A level star can demand. However Cavill isn't an A level star (probably at least B - C level) and that to some degree I can understand WB being a little hesitant to bring him back due to his demands that maybe he hadn't quiet earned, but at the same time WB was also being extremely difficult as well.
I would be pissed off if I was Cavill too when you see Gadot and Momoa get sequels when they started way after him. Hell even Shazam got one lol
@@lyndonchastain3181 Shazam was the best DC movie.
@@BadgerUKvideo Yeah but the second one sucked balls. My point is Cavill has every right to be ticked off at WB. They even made Affleck the focal point in Batman vs Superman
@@lyndonchastain3181 Fair play. Just got to defend Shazam wherever possible. I'm totally ok with people saying Wonderwoman gets the top slot but people seem to forget how bad the final act was.
Shazam was banging start to finish.
No, that's completely false. He wasn't making demands. The executives simply didn't want him in the role. When The Rock got the ear of a new executive, he had no trouble striking a deal for Cavill to appear in Black Adam. But he had to go around the outgoing executive who refused to hire Cavill. And, now, WB has appointed Gunn who has fired Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and others from their roles. This is ALL because of the egos of corporate executives, not anything the actors did.
Russia won the war its ok you can say it
Yeah, let's ignore the Russian/Nazi pact that saw Europe burn. It was only when the Germans attacked Russia that the got off their backsides and they would have lost if Britain and the US hadn't supplied them.
More than Supmaan I wish He had the Witcher role, superman was kinda boring
Chiefs suck anyway and it was a lame bowl in a while
Anyone else getting the vibe that this film is a dud as they seem to be releasing lots of clips and interviews and it all feels very desperate does the promotion.
It's not doing well, but it's a fairly entertaining movie. Not nearly the classic this host seems to think it is though, LOL.
Henry Cavill was too bland to play Superman. Its such a squeaky clean character, so you need a charismatic actor to add flavor to it, and Christopher Reeve had that screen presence and charisma, Cavill lacked. Bond is easier to play, because the script gives Bond some charisma to make up for the actor lacking charisma. Daniel Craig is rather wooden too, but was ok as Bond.
The character played by Alan Ritchson and the way he portrays the real Major Anders Lassen VC may not be correct regarding the real historic events on this mission, but the real life Anders Lassen was well known in SOE at the time as highly efficient at killing Nazis in various ways.
The real life Anders Lassen was actually so good at what he did that he became a major at age 23 in SBS (what later became Special Boat Service).
One of his combat reports allegedly just consisted of the words "arrived, killed Nazis, f..ked off".
Anders Lassen unfortunately died 9th April 1945.
W report.
The Russians were the major reason for the defeat of Germany in WW2. The US did provide resources and were instrumental during D day but the Russians had a more crucial role in Germany’s defeat.
Only in the fact that Russia is huge and the Germans were stuck there in Winter. The Russian army was barely a force. They were sharing guns for God's sake. I am not American but don't try and discount the impact the United States entering the war had in the outcome.
Obviously, Henry has absolutely no knowledge of the history of that time.
The US had a big impact but mostly for resources. The Russians fought through the winter and broke the German army’s back and the allies finished them off.
@@yasirshafi That's true.
The World War 2 in color doc on Netflix is a good resource. Even a western produced doc acknowledges the major role the Russians played.
