Can we take a second to acknowledge how beautiful and powerful Kanoe’s prayers are? Every prayer is so unique and powerful. Praise God. Always exactly what I need to prepare my heart for Gods Word🙏🏾❤️

Her prayers are so full of love and honesty about and for the Lord. They touch my heart every time. I have a hard time with praying I always stumble with them and often unsure what to say. I know there is no right or wrong way to pray as long as we are talking to God. But I pray one day that prayers will come effortless to me like they do for Kanoe.

@@kathyAngelatosyes. Very true. I notice something though. She follows the same prayer guide of how Jesus taught us how to pray. Honoring God(acknowledging His Sovereignty), praying over the day/message we are about to receive, asking for forgiveness, praying against the schemes of the enemy, praying for us, then ends with thanks and honor. Then at the end of the message, same pattern but in between, she applies a lot of whatever the message was that day or some key points in her prayer. Praying and asking God to help us apply it in our lives. I think that’s why it seems to flow so naturally. Because she pretty much talking to God like she would talk to us(obviously with a lot more fear/respect). Either way, I’m always looking forward to hearing her prayer and I pray the same for anyone whose heart is longing to learn how to talk to Our Father to find the right words when they need to communicate with him. Best is, ask the Holy Spirit to teach you❤

I feel like sharing something here and believe many will relate to this. Yesterday, I began spreading the love of Jesus. I was so nervous because this is something I have not done before. But before I did it, I had this emotion of just doing it. So, I just stopped of whatever I was doing, grabbed my whiteboard and wrote "Jesus 💖You". Then, I walked out of the door and began spreading the love about Him. When I saw many people getting happy about this, it almost made me want to cry. There was even this one person who gave me a hat and a water bottle, that was more than I can ever ask. I talked to God saying: "This is too much Lord and I don't even deserve this". I did this for about an hour, and I will tell you time flew really quick.
It is funny how I got here, because I prayed to God in tears on how frustrated I am that I cannot be bold like others to spread about Him. Lord has His mysterious ways of doing His works. I love Him so much.
If you are the person who wants to spread about Jesus onto the streets, but you have too much fear to do so. I will tell you that just go outside and do it! Just take down the nervous wall and don't let that hold you back! Pray to God to help you and He will do it! Many people want to hear about the gospel and the love of Jesus. I believe in you!
May God bless you all! 💖

I have been enjoying these bible lessons, thank for taking us through the Word of God. I have a comment/thoughts on why the Abimelech gave such a huge gift to Abraham. I come from Africa (i will generalize this for context). In most culture within Africa when a man takes another man's wife or a man sleeps with a lady he has not officially married and she gets pregnant, he pays a fine. In the olden times the fine would be actual animals (cattle, sheep, goats etc). As times have changed, it is still animals but calculated into money. Sp the man pays the fine in terms of money. Some cultures still demand an animal. The reason for the fine is a peace offering. I think this was the same case for Abimelech (and I am open to correction if not the case). I say so because later in chapter 22 we read of the covenant between Abraham & Abimelech. The conversation reads as a friendly conversation leading to a covenant. I do not think it would have been so friendly if Abimelech had not paid the fine he did earlier after finding out Sarah was Abraham's wife. Now, I could be wrong, so you do some research and let us know what you find out :) I would love to hear your findings.

Hi kanoe! Love from Canada💕 I’m at 12:13 in the video and just wanted to share what my bible says about the fire and brimstone, I have a KJV women’s study bible that I follow along with and one of the little notes in it says “the Dead Sea area abounds in petroleum, bitumen, salt and sulphur. The Lord’s use of these elements in destroying the city becomes an OT image for overwhelming judgement”. Then I read an article in Forbes saying that a team of archaeologists have been working on a site believed to be where sodom originally was and think it was a meteor that hit. The combination of a meteor and petro etc. sure would cause total destruction

When you said Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away with only some food and skin of water, Here is my take. God just got done telling him listen to Sarah. Sarah just previously said that Hagars son will not share inheritance with hers. Abraham really was listening to what Sarah said as he sent them away with no inheritance, As God instructed him.

I found your videos a few weeks ago and I've watched every day starting from the beginning. I always struggled with being consistent and now I'm spending hours reading and studying every day. I'm thankful for your ministry! ❤ 19:15-16 Notice that there is no mention that the son-in-laws left the city. Perhaps the joke (jester) was that Lot wanted to save the son-in-laws but they knew they were not worthy to be saved. Perhaps Lot lingered because he was trying to convince the son-in-laws that they were worthy. And there was probably a tug of hearts to get the daughters to leave behind their betrothed. Also note that Lot, his wife, and daughters had to be "seized" by the two men (son-in-laws... it doesn't say the angels) and be taken and "set outside the city". They basically had to be pushed out the city because they were lingering too long, hence the urgency when the angels said "Up!" The angels were saying... "that's enough talking, you need to go NOW!" 19:26 In my opinion, I feel like because Lot was in front of his wife, he was not in a position of protection. Again, in my opinion, he should had been behind her so that he was protection between her and danger. He should had literally had her back!

Good afternoon. Here's a little thing that happen to me today... I've started with Kanoe Bible Study since day one around 2 months ago. I really loved it and enjoyed it so much that I wouldn't want to miss a day, but then I started to lack off on her videos. I've been putting social media and video games first lately... Until this day June 6,2024 and this video of day 18 Gen. Chap.19-21, "I was like alright let me get back on track." Before even speaking I knew my heart and mind needed to gear something special.... and there it was at the of this video the prayer opened up my whole body and soul that I teared! When I was just folding my husband's clothes those prayers really got to me. Since me and my husband have been lately trying to conceive and form a family. I haven't prayed much for our bundle of joy, but Hearing Kanoes Prayer at the end made me think that God really knows exactly what you want to hear and knows what you're praying for! So thank you Kanoe for everything for never stopping. I thank you for those whole heartedly prayers. May the Lord continue to help us grow alongside with you and every brother and sister! God bless everyone. Keep us in your prayers❤!

I am enjoying going through this with you. Your prayer and readings are so helpful for me.
I notice a lot in these chapters, but it symbols a lot of what we are going through today in our society.
When reading about Abraham giving false witness for the second time, it made me think a lot about him "pimping " his wife/sister for positional/societal position gain. Why is it so easy for him to give her up, when he knows it was wrong? Just to gain powerful position with Abimelech? To gain land?
If he was more truthful, he would have Ishmael with him?

Studying these chapters today I couldn’t help thinking of society today. Wondering how people that support such wicked lifestyles are so lacking of knowledge of the word of God. I do not understand how they cannot fear God and his coming judgment. So sad. I know this is preaching to the choir but just amazed the world is so evil and not afraid. No conscience I guess. God does love everyone but repentance is the only answer if not we will be judged for our sin.

The story of Lot really makes me think that sometimes intercession is something we should consider avoiding and just staying out of God’s way when he’s going to do something.
Also for anyone who wants to learn about the real Soddom and Gomorrah sites look up Ron Wyatt documentaries about this and the amazing scientific detail that proves this was not a natural event. Don’t try to find naturalistic explanations of what happens in the Bible, that’s just a habit we have fallen into to try to appease the atheists and try to make the Bible less fantastic. The truth is they are all miracles of God and he made the natural world and he can do whatever he wants in it influencing natural forces or overriding them if he wants to.

There’s evidence of the “sulfur” found. So it’s real. Not just “supernatural “.❤

Yes. Supernatural occurrence (meaning not a “natural” or typical event) doesn’t imply it wasn’t real 😊

6:36 My only thought are James 5:19-20. I now it is NT but the concept helps to offer an explanation of Lot’s behavior. Ezekiel 33:8 (OT) speaks on it as well but I think James articulates it better. If someone is going to sin and you do not do anything about it… you are as guilty as they are. I believe Lot was attempting to course correct a situation, where there was going to be a sin committed, by offering a hospitable “solution” that would absolve him.

Hi, watching from Ontario Canada, followed along last year and finished reading through the Bible for the first time. I’m following along again this year, it’s great for accountability, at least for me. 😊
SUGGESTION: It would be nice to have the scripture references on the Heart Checks, so at a later date we can go back and read through them again. I know we could write them on but if we download the notes later, it would handy to know where to place them. Just a thought if it’s not a lot of trouble or takes a lot of time, know you are already spend a lot of time on the study which I greatly appreciate.

I always wondered what was the punishment for the daughters of Lot because I know for a fact what they did to their father could not have possibly gone unpunished

I read something recently that pointed out that what Lot had earlier intended for his daughters was turned around on him with their actions. I had never thought of that before.

My bible(foot notes) says that rained down burning sulfur. Perhaps from a violent earthquake, spewing up asphalt such as is still found on this region.
