Hello! I really want to show the kids in sunday school this. But I don't really understand what the iodine is, I live in sweden and thought I bought the right thing but it wasn't...can I get a link or something to where I could buy it online, just so I can see more exactly what it is. Remember that movie the Fly with Jeff Goldblum??
It was supposed to be ONLY him, Seth Brundle inside that Teleportation device. Unbeknownst to Seth, a house fly slips in during the process, leading to a merger of man and insect. Initially Seth Brundle appears to have undergone a successful teleportation but the fly's cells begin to take over Seth's body and becomes increasingly fly-like.
Let's just say...it didn't work out at the end.

Thank you for making this video! I have been searching for how to prepare this experiment. I have seen several examples of the demonstration, but none showed how to do it. I love your addition of the quinine and black light. It really shows how we "think" we are clean, but God's sees all. I can't wait to use this demonstration at my next Crossroads Kid Club lesson. The elementary school kids will love it!

I have done this without the Tonic Water in many illustrative forms and formats for decades. This is the first time I have seen this additional element to the illustration used. I appreciate the Heads UP (looking UP and inward) addition. THANKS. I enjoy (and need) a bit of quinine now and then. I also have plenty of black lights which I already use for my chalk art illustrations; all set and ready to GLOW for God. Oh, wait. That would be a different use for the glowing effect; a different illustration entirely.

Watching tbis video the paasage that comes to me is this. Like you said we may think we are perfect but the fact is have we all done what God has called us to be foe him? I see so many hurting people out there, they are lost sheep. I know only God can help them, but maybe we are to pray for them that the Holy Spirit will lead them back to the cross? I was brought up to love the sinner but hate the sin.i love this. Wants me to fully walk in Gods way. I am still being molded by Gods hands. Inam so far from perfect. I thank you for sharing this! If Christ came to bear the sins of men because of Adam's sin, what about the people who came before Christ? !! What will be their fate?
And what about the prophets that God sent to men before Christ, and why God sent them as long as humans bear sin? !! And the prophets are human and they also carry sin. ? !!!
Why did not Christ come in the time of Adam or shortly after him to bear sin? !! Why do humans leave their sins for so long?

Those who died before Christ, having faith in and believing in the promises of God, had their faith counted to them as righteousness. When Christ came, was crucified, and subsequently resurrected, His death on the cross was sufficient to cover all sin for all people for all time.
What *I* have to do after that, is believe in my heart that Christ's death was sufficient to make peace for MY sin, and accept the already-paid-for gift of eternal life.
@@AntonioPizza so, if their faith is counted to them as righteousness and they will get eternal life, there is no need for Jesus's coming and his sacrification on the cross.
@@abdelhamid_elzarka Read Romans 3:23-26. Jesus had to come no animal could provide the atonement nor salvation that God Almighty required for man.

Such a friendly demo to illustrate your point but I would like to lovingly confront your wonderful commentators and you on some points. After all if we can't have logical talks about Jesus or God, then we are like other religions which bar their followers from thinking or asking questions. If any of you would like to respond I would be so grateful for it. Here's my problem and actually the whole worlds problem with a rare few of Christian doctrines. First of all, there're a lot of people who insist every word in the Bible is True. But then you find out that they didn't really mean that we could heal as Jesus said his followers could. Someone decided we are not followers.. and only the apostles were. So the definition of followers was changed it appears to fit a certain narrative'. Then others say Genesis I, a purely spiritual account of creation is no longer true. Even tho' it's numero uno in the Bible, it's not true, (they say) because we are no longer made in God's image and likeness and furthermore we are born with a depraved nature, or sin nature. We need the Churches to make us whole and good. It appears the fact that Moses supposedly wrote Genesis Chapter One seems of far less importance than a story about Adam and Even eating an apple due to a talking snake. Then we are blamed for someone else's mistakes. Good parents don't blame little Johnny for what little Sue caused, particularly if it was thousands of years ago. But then Heresy was punishable by death in the old days. Genesis I lifts people UP, "God saw EVERYTHING God made and behold... it was VERY GOOD. But Rome, or shall we say the Roman Emperor Constantine, got the ball rolling to help us all realize what a bad and sinful bunch we are and we couldn't possibly heal. That would have made Rome and all the other dictatorships irrelevant. The fact that Rome killed most of all of the leaders of Christianity including Jesus never seems to be questioned either. We swallow the reinvented Christianity as Rome decided and still decides. Ever heard of a One World Religion. The Pope and his predecessors have been hugging on every religious figure in the world hoping to get back control over the pesky Protestants, the Islamic faith, the Hindu's and all the rest.
When people turn to Genesis I for the Truth, there is LIBERATION... we are God's BELOVED children, and the fact that some people DON'T believe it seems to give them the right to harm people , subjugate them and put them into dictatorships/socialism. Think of all the Genocides, the "exterminations" in our history... why??? Are we that horrible that we deserve that kind of treatment. These are simply things to ponder. But imagine if you would having a family of children and you told them all they were losers and sinful. Or a family where you told them they were made with a heart to love and help others... and to do good for others and one's family. Much love....

Ummmmm... I thought you just put the labels on two bottles of water and one bottle of red wine, and as long as the labels are on God takes care of the rest? I saw this and thought it was a miracle, you mean to tell me you people were just using chemicals this whole time?? I feel so cheated. i though god was defeating sin :( feel lied to.

Can food coloring be use instead of iodine?

If I don't use a blacklight, can I use plain water in the third vase/bottle?
Absolutely! The disappearance of the iodine works just as well.

Does the iodine have to be a particular concentration for it to work?
I don't believe so. The iodine used in the video is a 10% concentration.

+strawberrykawaii 24 Only if you want to include the glow-in-the-dark aspect. Tonic water WITH quinine. The quinine is what makes the water glow under blacklight.
Otherwise, regular tap water will work just fine.
