How could you forget the titanomachy cutscene from GOW2???? The gods war agains the titans in a game called God of war rings a bell??? Kronos raising with Kratos in his hand showing how massive he is? THe gods at the top of olympus preparing to battle at the beginning of GOW3???? WHile the new games are superior in quality, the spectacle of the old games is unsurpased. Freya pulling a sword? Deer hunting? Really??? You guys dropped the ball hard on this one.
“To grieve deeply is to have loved fully” - my mom had passed literally a week before I watched that scene between Kratos and Faye and it was immediate water works. I ended texting my mom about it even though I knew she’d never read it herself.
These are all great, but some of the most touching moments of Ragnarok was that of Faye teaching Kratos the way in which she sees the world, responsibility, and how to BE better. And hearing her words through Kratos, trying to give his son Atreus that which Faye couldn't be there to give. Wisdom and a piece of his mother "We are not our failures"
Dude the divinity of acceptance within yourself encapsulates all the shit he went through. I cried my eyes out when he confronted himself only after he was content to sit on the throne for a while and the music while panning out made this whole story of Kratos an amazing storytelling and coming full circle he’s still worthy. A huge lesson in real life that you can change as a person to be better and those decisions forge a new destiny.
My favorite scene was the starting scene in ascension. From the moment Kratos realizes he is trapped to when he breaks free with both his blades. I feel nothing tops that.
Letting Calliope go and Atreus Remains is my faves in the franchise. Both have the same thing of Kratos letting his kids go. But the parallels are there, one is tragic but a necessary sacrifice and a pain he has shoulder and the other, a more wholesome and relatable scene where your own kid needs to get out there to find him/herself and has proven capable to survive the outside world. Both scenes cut deep
I’m Greek, and i was happy to see that the Valhalla DLC was also translated entirely in Greek like the full games did. And our Greek Voice actor gave it all in Valhalla’s final cutscene and it even matches Christopher Judge’s performance, if not outbest it.
I’m a fan of the cutscene before Zeus and Kratos throw down in 3, letting go of Pandora and the visceral animal rage from Kratos always gives me goosebumps, along with Zeus’s constant mocking of Kratos, especially when he opens the box to find it empty.
This list for sure had everyone of the epic, iconic and legendary ones. But I would say that the “ZEUS, YOUR SON HAS RETURNED" must separate from his speech to Zeus "The hands of death could not defeat, the sisters of fate could not hold me, AND YOU WILL NOT SEE THE END OF THIS DAY. I WILL GET MY REVENGE" Edit: the one with Baldur that says "The cycle ends here, we must be better" is pretty good aswell
I got some wish fulfillment with the GOW: Ragnarok Valhalla DLC. I've always wondered what an older, wiser Kratos could say to a younger version of himself if he could confront him. It exceeded all my expectations. If anyone was in desperate need of therapy, it's Kratos.
well the war speech before entering into asgard ohhh i loved it the music the effects phew literally the speech made me ready for the fight with thor in the end f u odin for killing thor
Simply the best videogame series. Series for me is 4 or more main games. If there is only trilogy in the series that is as good as god of war series, then it is another category.
He is the gow and now he is the god of peace for 3 months (until we got valhalla which he become the god of hope and he officially know it and love it(he's ilthe god of hope more then he is gow basically))but I dont think he will continue in the god of peace cuz fans won't love it and the gow will lost basically everything people love in him so I guess there will be somethings that will ruin his god of peace shit and return to god of war and destruction and all that shit
Wait…is Mojo Plays implying that Kratos is weaker after GOW 3? Because that’s not how his character works. I personally think that Baldur only gave Kratos such a hard time because he was holding back…
He literally loses and regains his power multiple times between games and when starting new ones. There's no reason he can't be a bit out of practice years after GOW
Wasn't true that the scene in the 2018 game where kratos reclaims the blades of chaos Christopher Judge got so emotional they actually had to stop the filming because of him?
you need to put all of the scenes with brok in them higher he is the best character in god of war 2018 and god of war ragnarok better than kratos and atreus
Gow 3 final scene has more meaning than both Norse games, plus Pandora sacrifice scene, people don’t really understand the meaning of gow 3 and why it’s the best game, all they want is softness and they call it character development, I don’t like where kratos has gone and the games, yes they are good but it’s too soft yes he can stop killing like monster but all this dialogues and lame combat and he holds back etc it’s just cringe

I always thought that Hepastus death was so saddening but the death of Brok was only the source of water works 😭😭😭😭

Kratos reawakening Hope and finally defeating Zeus.
Kraots's journey into Valhalla to finally confront his inner past self about his actions was wholesome. He truly came at peace with himself.
Also would serve as a suitable conclusion to his story 💯😎🙏
A boss fight against young Kratos beforehand would have been cool too...
If only the old Kratos was voiced by the old voice actor and a battle to finish things off.
Fr the "There is no forgiving you. You chose!!...I chose." Hit hard.
“To grieve deeply is to have loved fully” - my mom had passed literally a week before I watched that scene between Kratos and Faye and it was immediate water works. I ended texting my mom about it even though I knew she’d never read it herself.
be strong brotha

GOW 3 had some epic action scenes
My favorite scene was the starting scene in ascension. From the moment Kratos realizes he is trapped to when he breaks free with both his blades.
I feel nothing tops that.

Did you forget: When Kratos says "the hand of death could not defeat me; the sisters of fate could not hold me. I will have my revenge"
Is that on UA-cam too?
It’s pretty heartbreaking when Sindri went from being friendly to hateful towards Atreus. I wonder what he’ll do next.
I love your videos and especially your God of War videos!!
Mine was the Team Up Scene of Kratos, Atreus and Freya completely owning Odin at end of Their Battle
I’m a fan of the cutscene before Zeus and Kratos throw down in 3, letting go of Pandora and the visceral animal rage from Kratos always gives me goosebumps, along with Zeus’s constant mocking of Kratos, especially when he opens the box to find it empty.
As weird as it seem, therapy through combat isn't a foreign concept to me because of Yu Yu Hakusho
Fight Club does a good job at showing that too, you known until the cult stuff.
12:35 reminds me of when kratos was crushed by colossus’s falling hand in gow 2
Gow 2018 and Ragnarok are just one scene tho
You aren’t wrong actually lol
I love cutscene movies
Cory Barlow has openly stated that the current Kratos would defeat his younger self.
Barlog...
@@joshmciver4847 indeed, must have been an auto correct 😂

The sequence of 'always monster' is the best scene in the history of videogames
The heartbreaking part of Brok’s death is that he just ceases to exist, he doesn’t get an afterlife.
well the war speech before entering into asgard ohhh i loved it the music the effects phew literally the speech made me ready for the fight with thor in the end f u odin for killing thor

Kratos- "that is something you should go ask your wife"
Kratos might go from God of War to possibly be the God of Peace.
God of War and Peace
He is the gow and now he is the god of peace for 3 months (until we got valhalla which he become the god of hope and he officially know it and love it(he's ilthe god of hope more then he is gow basically))but I dont think he will continue in the god of peace cuz fans won't love it and the gow will lost basically everything people love in him so I guess there will be somethings that will ruin his god of peace shit and return to god of war and destruction and all that shit
I thought the betrayal cutscene would be higher tbh
Wait…is Mojo Plays implying that Kratos is weaker after GOW 3? Because that’s not how his character works. I personally think that Baldur only gave Kratos such a hard time because he was holding back…
He literally loses and regains his power multiple times between games and when starting new ones. There's no reason he can't be a bit out of practice years after GOW
Not gonna lie god of war 1 always wins in my opinion cause nothing will beat those lines and that scene “the ghost of Sparta had been born”
One of the best scenes is the battle of gods against the titans from gow 2
God of war ghost of sparta had one of the best ending cutscenes
Slow that speech down enough from the world serpernt and he says "i know you ghost of sparta"
I don't know why you couldn't put them in chronological order
Wasn't true that the scene in the 2018 game where kratos reclaims the blades of chaos Christopher Judge got so emotional they actually had to stop the filming because of him?
İ hope a live action god of war movie or a tv adaptation happens soon
You didn't included when he became “Death, destroyer of worlds”
Idea: top 10 or 20 children protagonists in horror games
to 23:40 nah, id like to try it to, it sounds reliefing of my anger issus
The cycle ends here. We must be better>
you need to put all of the scenes with brok in them higher he is the best character in god of war 2018 and god of war ragnarok better than kratos and atreus
First ❤🥇
You think MARVEL Thor could beat Kratos?
Black angrboda ruined atrurs remains
Kronos is bigger than the world serpent

GOW is like a perfect story unlike that useless last of us part 2
Ragnarok is such a bad game though. Very rushed ending. And the final fight was brutal. A big letdown
I agree ragnarok should have been a cataclysmic event
