Hi Mark. Than you for the review. I hope that Weltool will take the comments of one like yourself, who strives for fairness, to heart and make the necessary improvements.
It could be a great light if the improvement was made. Thanks for commenting
Engineer POV: I'm a huge fan of dual-voltage lights that can use Li-ion or common replaceable batteries.
They are more versatile: Recharge when possible, carry a long-shelf-life lithium-metal AA battery as a spare.
I agree. This would be near perfect if they can change lumen switching. Thanks for commenting
Just ordered this today. Great review. It will help with protecting myself against the stray dogs who charge to bite at night.

Good revue, and your summation was real world and honest. I have several LED, Lion flashlights but I just want to see where I am going and not signaling Mars. My old flashlights work just fine for what I use them for.
Right on. Most of us only need medium or low power lights. High lumen lights are fun but not all that useful. Thanks for commenting
As for us seniors, I think the operation from bright to low is VERY cumbersome.
It may be a great investment for young folks, but as we get older, our joints get worn out and small motor skills are harder to do.
I ALREADY have flashlights that for myself are harder to adjust from brightness to dimmable, or from flashing to solid stream.
So for young Folks this may be the perfect light 🥰
I would rate this light much higher if it had an easier way to change modes. Thanks for commenting
This is the tactical version, the low setting is supposed to be this way to not accidentaly activate low. The same flashlight can be had without the TAC feature. Then it works like a normal flashlight with low-med-high.
G"day Mark, I'm a huge fan of 14500/AA jobs and it'd be nice to have a little thrower around the house, but man, what a shame about that low setting. I'm betting they're gonna lose a heap of sales due to that.
Unfortunately, no Little Duke .... for a big Duke. Cheers Duke.
Hi Duke. I agree. If they could change the mode switch this could be a great light. Thanks for commenting
6:41... the sirens in the background just as you turn the light on your neighbor's property...
Perfect! 😂
I have a small AA single cell light that I use at work, but it isn't extremely bright. Maybe this is what I need. Thanks for another informative flashlight review.
Their coming for me😅. This is truly a bright light. Thanks for commenting
Great Light & Price Thanks For Your Thoughts & Demo Mark ! ATB T God Bless

Thanks for the review, Mark!
That method of toggling from high to low seems overly complicated and fairly touchy to me. Most flashlights with multiple levels just have you toggle the tailcap once to switch to another mode, and I've never had any trouble being able to manage that process. This seems not only a little more complicated, but remembering HOW to do it (How many clicks? Which do I hold on?) is a deal-breaker for me. I'd probably spend several minutes trying to remember exactly how to do that, and it's just not worth it to me.
Thanks again!
Unfortunately, I agree. I like this light and if it can be made easier to change modes, it would be even better. Thanks for commenting
Definitely an improvement over last gen...but I agree..wish it was easier to go between modes. Franky, I would have been happy with alternating modes.
The lumen switching is the only downside to this light. Thanks for commenting
Great little light for sure...with a nice clip for the pocket too! Have not seen a low mode like that before...the light I have one just cycles from low to high to off. Other than that, it seems like a good little light...maybe priced a little on the high side for me. Great review!!
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for commenting
Good review Mark thanks for sharing YAH bless !

I really like this light. The ability to clip it to your hat is a huge deal for me. I still don't have a headlamp just because most of the time I wear a hat of some sort and I think a headlamp would be awkward with a hat on so I've been avoiding getting one. Do you think getting it into the low setting is something a fella would get used to in time or is it just too fidgety? Thanks for sharing the Welltool T1 PRO EDC Flashlight Mark. I appreciate it!
Most welcome Steve. I have a couple of more lights I am testing you may like. Thanks for commenting
@@MarkYoungBushcraft Right on, I'll be watching.
Great review, as always, Mark. I presume you cannot change the focus/width of the beam, correct? I have always found the greatest impediment to a really good, small flashlight is the exorbitant cost. Thanks, again.
Just a simple but well built light with only the one flaw. Thanks for commenting
Lucky your neighbours aren’t drug dealers or thieves. Cuz every time you get a new flashlight, they’d panic and think it’s a bust! 😀
Yeah that low thing is really bizarre. The way they’re all different is one of the reasons I get the simplest possible. Even twist caps for small ones…..OLight is the only one I’ve ever seen with a low/high twist cap btw.
Oh, and that Costco one I told you about, that is a very full sized one, whopping powerful flood, came with a lithium battery, a battery pack to run with AA, 14 hour run time on low, which totally illuminates a medium sized room, and one other feature I’ve never seen. If you cover the light, it shuts off, to prevent it from overheating, or coming on in a bag.
I drive the neighbours dog crazy with the lights😂. I will take a look at Costco for the light. Thanks for commenting Jim
@@MarkYoungBushcraft I dont know if they have it at my Costco anymore. It was a special, only $29 8 Duracell batteries included! Summer stuff is out, so maybe they’ll have more deals
