I got this a few weeks ago and I love it. It got stuck on with with the rgb colours but on the instructions there's is a fix for it. Also if you want to completely lock it just do a quarter turn on the battery cap.
FINALLY! A review of this light where every second word isn't 'awesome' or 'phenomenal'.. And you quickly answered what for me is the single most important question - can it be switched off with a single press (without having to long-press or cycle through all the modes). Might seem trivial to some, but a deal breaker for me. So thanks for that..
If I pay out for "26650 Battery 18800mAh 3,7 V 50A Lithium-ion" is that going to last more than 3x longer than 5000mAh ?? Sorry if that is basic, but I am puzzled why 18800 is often far cheaper to buy.
18,800 mAh? I strongly believe that’s false advertisement, i don’t think there is any 26650 battery with 18,800 mAh out there. The maximun capacity i’ve always seen for 26650 batteries, is around 5,000 mAh
Would that be a good alternative for a a small lantern like say the Olantern Mini that I recently bought and which is nice but the bright whiteness (supposed to be neutral white but more like artic whiteout) of the 360deg light is a bit harsh on the eyes even on low 15 lumen setting, otherwise a very nice little lantern but that Sofirn with the side lighting does look like it could have been possibly a better option? Maybe coupled with a magnetic hanging hook?
For a smallish lantern the LT1s with variable tint is a good choice - you can also have 180d and 360 degree output as well. The 23 might be a bit directional perhaps
@@flashlightsuk1422 I like the LT1 but I like the tininess of the Olantern Mini maybe more. I even sort of like the Obulb things that are kind of perfect for tent lights or maybe even a bit of night fishing? I am using one as a stairs night light at present. Also just got an i3t in Carbon Fibre which new looks a bit lacklustre but apparently it patinas up with use. Make good little desk or knife/multitool pouch torches. That 23 is like a proper work tool and also versatile so good to see it.
Hello guys PLEASE Can any other Sofirn IF23 owners help me.... My strobe on the spot and side light pulses fast then slow then fast.... IS THIS NORMAL.... it strobes at different speeds in a way .... does yours???? Thanks for helping me
Got one, cannot recommend it because it is buggy and unpredictable. Never before I even thought that a flashlight would need firmware updates. If it functioned properly it would be my main flashlight.
Nice one indeed, with lots of functionality 👌🏻
Mine has just arrived, ordered afterw atching this video, its AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!1

Interesting concept, something I could use I think.

Yes thats normal with the IF23, its called a dual frequency strobe - a series of fast then slower blinks....
@flashlightsuk1422 oh thanks so much that's a relief.... many thanks
