What a beautiful place and quite a unique way of doing your photography - from the middle of a river! Super footage and photos. I'm sure it was well worth all the effort!
@SkylarkFields, many thanks for the comment it is appreciated, and I'm glad that you enjoyed the video, yes it's worth putting the effort in, going for a walk and enjoying the wildlife. a great day out.👍
Glad you enjoyed the video, yes I don't tend to use my drone too much, it's all about the environment that you're in and then being able to use it without scaring off the wildlife and the birds I suppose, but yeh I must use it more 🛸
Hi Richard, yeah such a great day out in the Dales wandering around photographing nature and wildlife, many thanks for the comment and have a great weekend. 👍
Many thanks for your comment, yes Yorkshire is certainly a fantastic looking place, the scenery is stunning across the Dales. Many thanks for the comment take care and I'll see you on the next one. 👍
Hi Shaun glad you enjoyed the video, many thanks for the comment and for taking the time to leave one, always great to hear from my viewers, catch you on the next one 👍
Hi Jane many thanks for the comment yes the scenery is absolutely stunning in Yorkshire and those stone walls certainly do add to the attraction. I did not know that you had Stonewalls like this in Australia, I can't say that I've ever seen any on any TV shows or images would be great to see them. Thanks
Happy Birthday mate. Do it while you can. I'm 70 next month, and I struggle now with walking. So I seem to spend more time in hides now days. Great video again Ashley 👍
Hi Mick, many thanks for your comment yep, I need to get out as much as possible and just enjoy the fresh air and being physically able, your comment is appreciated and have a great weekend. 👍
Being a Yorkshire Lad, I totally agree with you about it being a great place 😊, thanks for a great video showing the magic of Yorkshire. Your Dragonfly is actually a Male Common Hawker, some people call it the Moorland Hawker, the yellow edge to the wing, Costa, is a give away. Happy Birthday too Ashley 🎉
HI Huddsbirder, many thanks for your comment and for updating me on the Dragonfly, always happy to be corrected and get the right information and learn. have a great weekend 👍
Thanks for a great video. I live near the N Yorkshire national Park and see red kites regularly now. I enjoyed seeing your footage on the wharf . Glad the camera is OK. Have you tried using a camera harness like a cotton carrier? I have been using one and really helps with carrying the weight and having both hands free. Happy birthday, kind regards Steve.
Hi Steve many thanks for your comment yes I do have a camera harness or shoulder strap I just prefer to use a tripod for when it comes to video, first time I have dropped it though so I've not done bad lol. I appreciate your comment and have a great weekend, Ash
Hi - I love following your travels. I haven't noticed you asking for people to subscribe very much... might help boost your numbers... hope that's constructive. Keep them coming, the York dales looked stunning!
Hi Clive many thanks for your comment yes I must ask people to subscribe a bit more, I'm just a bit reluctant I don't want to push too much lol, anyway your comment is appreciated and have a great weekend. 👍
Hope you never damaged your camera. Just a question,do you have someone there to do your drone footage,it certainly makes all your videos brilliant to watch. All the best for your birthday mate.
Hi Philip many thanks for the comment glad you enjoyed this one, no I do all the filming myself on the day, I know some people go out and capture the wildlife one day, then go out again the next day to do all the video to the camera and b-role. I prefer to do it live on the day, it does make it hard work, but it is a bit more real life that way. 😉👍 and the camera is fine thanks for asking 👌
Great video Ashley and happy birthday. I thought I knew the dales reasonably well but didn’t recognise the place you were in. Don’t worry I am not going to ask you to give it away, but would like to know the river. Ribble, wharf, lune?.. keep up the good work.
@@DavidJohnBlackwell many thanks for the comment David, and taking the time to leave one. The river was actually the river Wharf, one of my favourite rivers in the Yorkshire Dales. Hopefully I'll be back out son a different river in the next couple of weeks, catch you on the next one, take care and have a great weekend 👍
Your images are out standing
